I’d love an extended Blu-ray of that documentary. I’m sure there’s a ton of worthy material not used in the final cut.

It'll be interesting to see if there's a decent print out there. The disc that Kaleidoscope released last year was based on a really beaten up source.

The Man in Black has arrived in a generic cardboard mailer with just Hammer crime scene tape around it. How standards have slipped. And still no sign of my Quatermass 2 empty cardboard box. I’m shocked and appalled!

But seriously, it arrived safe and sound in bubble wrap inside the cardboard and is a lovely set. Booklet fans will be very pleasantly surprised, I think, although J-card fans will bemoan the fact that the card cuts off the film’s title on the front.

Is there such a thing as a J-card fan?

Really annoying flappy things you have to find somewhere to keep incase you resell, and just hope they fit into the slip box out of sight.

I thought those custom named boxes were only used for the bog box releases and not the smaller size boxes.

Must admit though I’ve only bought the big boxes from them.

With this box you can split the cellophane on the side so you can slide out the digipack, book, and bit of paper thing. The J-card stays within the cellophane.

Me, I tear off the plastic and bin the J-card. I don’t resell. I keep EVERYTHING!

The bottom line is that companies wouldn't produce deluxe editions if people didn't buy them.

Anyone bought the German edition of Hammer House Of Mystery and Suspense please? If so, is it the complete collection, it says 11 episodes with two bonus, but I thought this show always had 13 episodes?

Confused.

If you're talking about the Pidax DVD, the other episodes are included as 'extras' . This may be due to those episodes only having English audio only unlike the other 11. EDIT - I added this to REWIND several years back, and the 'bonus' episodes do not have German dubs.

I just bought the recently deleted Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires off ebay, so if Hammer announce it on 4k next, you can thank me.
