Just read this! Great news, I never thought we would see the day when Harrison Ford would return as Han Solo, especially this far down the road.

Plus having him come back makes me have more faith in the new Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, as long as they stay true to what we have all grown up on, they will be awesome!

As long as he doesn't get nuked in a fridge then we're okay.

I just mean brilliant in the sense that it accomplished what he set out to do, which was to make a "PG" movie about intergalactic warfare.

Really glad that he is returning as Han Solo for the next movie. This has gotten me a lot more pumped up for the next film in the series.Hopefully Harrison Ford gets his wise and he dies in VII going out in a blaze of glory in a "Passing of the Torch" type moment.I am not a ageist but Ford,Hamil and Fisher are all to old to be the focus for all three of these next Star Wars films. They should bring a a newer cast and split it between the "Old Guard and New Guard" and then fully pass the series onto them after VII or IX.

All I care about is the story and the screenplay. They get that right, the rest is going to take care of itself.

I can't believe Han is coming back. Just several months ago, I was blown away by Lucas selling it off and the announcement of a new trilogy, but this... wow.

Just when you thought Star Wars was deader than a door nail.

Id rather see Mark Hamil come back ... IMO he has to come back in the "mentor" role and train the new "hero" ... Qui-gon trains Obi-wan, Obi-wan trains Luke, Luke trains the new "hero" ...

One thing that really has me worried about this (especially with news of returning cast members) is who will score it. We all know that Abrams has a habit of using Michael Giacchino in his projects, but I just don't see how you can have a Star Wars film without John Williams. Say what you will about the prequels, but IMHO, the music was the one thing that was superb throughout the entire saga thanks entirely to Williams. I'm not saying that Giacchino can't deliver a quality score, but you can hardly compare his work to the man who has delivered more memorable themes in probably the entire history of cinema.

Yes, but not for Star Wars. I've always made the contention that Lucas turned Portman and Christensen into bad actors. Portman has proven in other films that she can emote realistically and Christensen was quite good in Shattered Glass, then terrible again in Star Wars III.

Did you actually watch the video? Shatner did not call him a pig for abandoning Star Trek, he called him a pig for "hogging" two Star Trek films and even that was in jest.

MarketSaw Exclusive Gains Traction!! You Heard It Here First - Harrison Ford Circling STAR WARS: EPISODE VII

Well if you are a MarketSaw reader than you know that we had this story a LONG time ago in a post far, far away. But going back even further to October 21, 2009 we were the first to break the story that the STAR WARS franchise will have Episodes VII, VIII and IX *AND* that they were going to be in stereoscopic 3D *AND* that George Lucas would NOT be directing.

All of that has been been proven correct and verified by Lucasfilm (eventually - they denied it at first of course) and Disney.

Let's skip ahead to November 2, 2012 now, when we broke yet another exclusive story that the third trilogy (EP VII, VIII and IX) will in fact bring back the original stars including Harrison Ford as Hans Solo. Yeah, this is old news. Ford may be close to signing something, but the fact that the story involves him and that he may have already been approached is MarketSaw's story.

It's nice to know that all of our STAR WARS exclusives are coming true (just like all of our AVATAR and HOBBIT exclusives) but it does irk me that other sites claim to have the exclusives on these things. Not by a long shot.

Keep checking back with us if you want to be the first to know, months if not YEARS before other sites. More STAR WARS and AVATAR news soon!!

Eh. Natalie Portman is pretty but not an actress. She is Natalie Portman in everything including Black Swan and V for Vendetta.
