The exotic fusion rifle is amazing. Full auto and 8 clip mag does a ton of burst dmg.

The patch isn't coming until tomorrow. I just finished farming the Shrine of Oryx on the moon again, figured I would get back up to over 20,000 glimmer before the update.

Why do they apparently have a Vanguard Marks cap of 100 for the week? I hit a 100 yesterday and bought a legendary piece of armor and today, everything I've done hasn't added any to my total. So, I check online and apparently there is a weekly cap? Why do that? It makes it kind of pointless for me to even do a lot of the stuff if I'm not going to get any marks.

On a different note, I was trying to find the boundaries of the game world and discovered the Interceptor in the Trenchway, I think is what it was called. Around that area anyway. Those are pretty cool. I tried to drive it back to the main area of Mars but I couldn't find my way and ended up right in the middle of a fire fight (rockets, actually) and it got blown up. Pretty cool vehicle though. I was mowing everyone down before it blew up.

Yeah, that happened to me tonight although my legendary card gave me a rare primary weapon but it was the same weapon I was using, just 3-4 levels below it.

Edit: When I went up a level I got 3 cards from him, 2 purple and a blue. I ended up with two rare items and my first legendary weapon so I'm pretty excited about that.

On a different note, got to experience the chaos/swarm like what happens at the cave on Earth at random. Apparently, it happens other places like that as well. I was in my favorite spot on Venus but after quite a while of killing them I was getting bored. I was about to leave when the enemies started streaming in from all over the place and much harder to kill. There were 3 of scrambling as fast as we could to take them down and amazingly we all survived it. They left and I continued for a while and actually went through it again. I made it through most of it solo and was getting ready to bail but it was pretty overwhelming when they just all of a sudden disappeared. It didn't last nearly as long as it did when there were 3 of us so it makes me wonder if they keep track of that (how many are fighting them) to make it a little more fair.

Best bit, I fired the final shot with relic whilst we just died, and he died too, so we got rewards whilst stuck on death screen

The rewards reset soon, so i'm happy we got it done tonight. It took us ages, and we kept getting his health down and came close so many times that to even win like that was amazing. We beat Templar in a similar way.

Pheew(!) what a hoot(!). The level 30 difficulty is a real pain in the backside.

Did I miss something or is there only 1 story mission on Venus? I just played the first mission and noticed others didn't unlock like Earth or the Moon. I see that there's 2 strikes and a patrol mission, but is that really it for the story missions?

If I remember correctly the next story missions don't open p until you finish a previous one.

you need to go to the plant reef for a cut scene, then other missions for venus will show

I think it was 4-5am GMT when we finished. Just synced and checked and trophy is there. I saw it pop too. Tbh, the first and important thing imo is knowing HOW to do the raid. Then you co-ordinate your players according to this. We figured out a system that worked almost everytime, hut executing it is what takes skill.

I seriously recommend that 2 hour vid because that gives you a walthrough of how to do it, but pullibg it off is another thing. We had all level 27s n 28s. We had high end weapos too. Void damage btw is your friend and whatever you do, GET times vengeance. It boosts ALL damage for people. You can literally spam grenades, shots with heavy and special weapons are even more damage dealing. Also, there are some safe spots from his and harpy fire we found for two people to cover us on each side whilst a 3rd opened the gates.

Strategy, luck and attrition are the key things to this raid.

Got my first legendary item (leg armor) yesterday playing with JJ.

I'm up to Level 24 now. Got the trophy by upgrading one of my Hunter's subclass. Going to upgrade the other subclass for the Hunter and try to equip all Legendary or exotic items before I move on to a different guardian.

Yeah, I'm not sure we knew how. Also, those guys were obviously used to playing together and so communication among them was better. It's hard when you don't recognize the voice that's talking to you, especially when someone says to follow them or "go to the left". Anyway, here I am now, well-rested, four hours later, and I've already been up an hour. It's that feeling you get when you stayed up for an extra innings ballgame, it goes nineteen, and your team loses. It was fun, though, and I hope to be able to get together with someone this coming weekend. I definitely can't do that very often on weeknights.

Honestly, i'm hoping you guys on the forum get raid ready soon, and i'm more than willing to come in with 6 of you and we'll work together. We had a few that needed telling what to do, but we just said "Go with him and do X" meaning to point out PSN IDs and everything worked out.

I'm hoping for better rewards, but when we clicked level 30 and got past the spire area to first chest, I didn't get anything
