Doubt it. I'd have to assume that they will be releasing Crystal in between the releases of S. Probably will go S part 1 in February, Crystal part 1 in May, S part 2 in August, Crystal part 2 in November or the complete opposite with Crystal p.1 in February, S p.1 in May, Crystal p.2 in august, S p.2 in November.

Well this is frustrating news.

Personally I, could give less of a toss about Crystal and they should focus on getting the 90s series out before they bother with Crystal.

I imagine they think this is a more sound business decision (Then again they think releasing the movies last is a sound business decision.) But it'll upset the people who just want them to get the rest of the 90s series out and most importantly stalls the official physical release of Stars till even later out now.

Not really. They just announced the rest of the villain voice cast for S today and they were pretty involved in dubbing it over the summer.

They announced at Anime Expo this year that dubbing for S started around the end of June/beginning of July. I would imagine that they're completely done with Crystal by now, and most likely finishing the last few episodes of S, if that's not already done. Stephanie Sheh said in an interview recently actually that they're pretty close to finishing the whole thing and she won't be recording that much longer for it. They'll probably be done dubbing the whole series by April or May of 2016, then start on the movies/specials/Crystal 2.0. Of course, having all of the episodes done doesn't mean that they'll release the box sets any sooner.

What is a good price point to bite at for the upcoming S2 P2 release? I'm debating whether or not to pre-order at deepdiscount with their 15% coupon which comes out to just over $50 with tax and shipping. Even discounted the price tag seems so high...

Yeah, my copy shipped yesterday. I don't know if it matters, but I think I pre-ordered as soon as it became available; my order is from July 13.

I pre ordered last month using PayPal. I hope they aren't waiting till last to ship the PayPal orders.

My PayPal order from 7/13 also shipped yesterday. Like Thomas Guycott said, the earlier orders typically ship out first at TRSI.
