Seriously? You guys are complaining about this? It's better than nothing, I'll take it. I love Scarecrows. Don't be so picky.

You can certainly see a number of titles that have probably had a big influence on Scream's move in this direction, and would of been released as double features in hindsight. Plus the more the library expands, the more those obscure titles are going to be lost in the crowd

I imagine this took a fair bit of time to compile, but it's a nice way to look at it. The least you could have done was at least made a pretty bar graph for us

Agreed. And April Fool's Day. When you see those two still not released and some of the ones that are... oy.

when it comes to B-grade titles (like X-Ray, Destroyer, Scarecrows, Bad Dreams, etc) I don't care at all if they're double feature releases. It's kind of fun to have them like that as years ago movies like these were actually on double bills at drive-ins and theatres...

it adds too the charm....

and as for organizing I have the main section of my library alphabetical.. but also separate sections for Criterions, Scream Collector's Editions, Digibooks and Steelbooks, TV series, and double features....

Got my copy of 'The Dark Half' in today. Hoping to watch it tonight. One of the few Stephen King adaptations I've never seen

The problem with this list is that collection counts include people who have it in their wishlist. For example, Halloween II is in 1535 collections, but around 150 of those are in the member's wishlist.

I'm surprised by how few folks list Assault on Precinct 13 when the other Carpenter flicks are so strong in number. Conversely, I'm impressed by the show of hands for Dark Angel. I had always heard it was a poor seller, but, at least here, it is on par with a lot of their early slasher releases that got a lot more ink in the forums and on Facebook. Thanks for the list.

Some were put off about it not including international cut with the orgy scene and Barbeaubies added to spice up the film.

That's partly because it was the second time AoP13 had been released on Blu-Ray in the US. There were a few new extras and the mono track got bumped up to lossless, but the release did not feature a new transfer.

We'll yeah it's not exact. But the ratios are probably pretty good indicators of total sales

Not to sound ungrateful but I'm hoping they are saving the really good announcements for the last couple of days of October.

I think so too. Even though the membership here is a fraction of total sales, it's not like when you factor in all sales that something like Cockneys vs Zombies would outsell something like They Live.

itd be nice both for scream and horror fans, if they could get theyre releases into more stores, not sure what its like in the states but here in Canada theyre not carried in any major stores ie: walmart, target, future shop. they have had a couple releases in walmart ( lake placid and lifeforce) and futureshop has them online, but i doubt most people dont even know half these releases exist.

Some of their DVDs and Chiller titles have been in a few stores I've shopped.
But the only blu-ray I recall seeing is The Fog and the slip was price-stickered to death by Walmart.

Exactly. I'm not discouraged at all by some of these low numbers. The whole world isn't on Blu-ray.com

I didn't mean to post those numbers as indicating sales amounts, but to show relative popularity between the different titles. ie the Carpenters are all massive sellers, while titles like The Horror Show and Eve of Destruction are responsible for the path Scream is now taking
