So while there’s not a scrap of solid evidence that it’s coming, as far as I’m concerned confidence is high.
They've already said it's coming, they just need to work out the licensing. And they said the gap between QII and QatP works because there was one for the original theatrical releases too.

I wonder when they release THE MAN WHO COULD CHEAT DEATH whether it will be in a super deluxe big slipbox or just as one of their regular special editions. Seems to me that in this case the latter would be more appropriate. Anyone else care to weigh in?

Unlike previous films that received the big box treatment, it was never given the comic strip adaptation for HoH magazine, so unless they come up with some alternative that's going to reduce the shelf space. Perhaps it will fall somewhere between the two? Being a classic-era gothic I do hope they go to town on booklet and extras, with a repro poster (the Belgian one is particularly good) thrown in.

That interview is going to cause trouble....the gap was 10 years for the theatrical films. Fancy waiting till 2035 for Quatermass And The Pit?

"they just need to work out the licencing" - that's literally the whole gig. That's not just a small detail! As said on the last page, that interview is going to cause a LOT of "well, they said it was possible..." comments for years....
