I received my first mission after handing in my first bounty.

DodgerBlue, me and one other person did the Queen's Wrath mission twice and got Legendaries each time. Not a super hard mission, but it is challenging.

The Riksis mission was a walk in the park.

Maybe as a group they aren't "super hard".

Earth is the easy one. If anyone is soloing and get put in a different mission just back out and go back in until you get the Earth one.

Just did the third mission and it is no joke, felt like a halo mission on the highest difficulty. Now it's blacked out, no more missions.

Should be easy with a fireteam.

Ok, did the nightfall twice with two groups. Rewards are extremely varied. Second group got ascendant energy for Mavrick and 6 strange coins for a friend.

I'm more concerned with earning ascendant shards to level armour and light but nope, no luck yet. Sucks. I'm gonna try doing the daily heroic as well as public events more. You tend to get lucky and get a shard time to time, but I hear strikes are good too.

Did you do the Queen bounties ? You can dismantle the lot for shards.

Yeah, I did em but thinking of keeping one as a 'set' kind of thing because I needed one but got three friggin helmets. Only one chest piece atm. I'm doing crucible bounties for scout and hand cannon to get last two mission orders. If they're doubles i'll likely keep one and dismantle the duplicates.

Shards are literally the only thing missing before I can probably boost to level 30. Farming is easy enough tbh for materials.

I got Draksis and tried it. I made it to him but there is no way in that confined space that I can see to solo 3 Yellows + those shanks with shields that can eat a rocket.

Think I got the ship "Outrageous Fortune" I believe. A friend has the monte carlo and not sure about the hand cannon as of yet. The armours rare as far as i'm aware so useless for high end light level.

@Bizdady: There is evidence to suggest raid gear has a higher overall defence than 'standard' legendendary if my friends Gauntlet drop is any indication buti doubt they will offer a higher light level overall than another legendary. Merely more defence.

@Tony208: The queens vendor has what she has and that is it. A few emblems, shaders, rare weapons and class items. Crap stuff really. Its the stuff you get for doing the missions using the side bar that seems worthwhile rather than the vendor items.

Overall, i'm quite disappointed with Bungie thus far in the execution of many things but there is jo denying that the fun factors still there; which makes the shortcomings all the more disappointing.

Queens Wrath was a prime opportunity for free mission based DLC expanding the story of the Queen but instead we got rehashed missions on the same maps with higher level enemies and 'loot'. A sloppy effort by all accounts.

I agree with Gamespot still regarding a 6.5ish score. Great mechanics for gameplay, fun to shoot and co-op, but a rather unispired and lacklustre execution for what its goals were. With Destiny, its a case of ambition exceeding grasp but just enough fun to keep players hooked for at least now.

For me, I think my times going to slow down on my main, and time to just go ibto cruise control mode with alts till maybe Bungie add something more worthwhile. The raid on hard is probably something i'll attempt once I hit level 30 or so but the fact is, I see Bungie possibly letting people wear more than one exotic piece in the future for armour and weapons.

Yeah, the missions are random. The Moon one was not bad, but the one we did on Mars was a mother***r.

Gamespot gave both Haze and Destiny a 6.

If that doesn't demonstrate just how broken review scores are as a concept I don't know what does.
