I kind of figured this would be more focused on Kong, but that's okay. It's not like the first film in the Monsterverse didn't focused on Godzilla either.

I really don't care but I predict a RT score below 40%. Which would make this a 4 star (outta 5) movie in my eyes.

the first film focused on Godzilla because it was titled...wait for it...GODZILLA. Kinda like why a movie named Kong Skull Island focuses on Kong.

I meant the first film didn't focus on Godzilla. The story was completely around the MUTOs.

I was hoping there would be more of a Godzilla story in GvK though. Oh sure, there is one, but from the sound of the reviews we don't follow it much. I'm guessing most of it revolves around Adison infiltrating Apex to prove that Godzilla's being provoked..

Still wondering if this is going to appear in the movie. I'm starting to suspect it's not since Playmates dropped it from the final product. I just really want to know what the heck it's supposed to be.

I'd probably watch the movie before casting any judgments. A lot of these reviewers go in with the mindset that the movie will be bad and that human scenes are bad. Let's form our own opinion.

I predict it will be more in line with the first Godzilla movie, probably in the 70s

With a streamlined runtime and great, clear VFX from the first impressions, I'm guessing this will have a better RT score than KOTM. 60s?

I don't really see why. Does a bloated film really piss critics off that much? This looks like it's going to be the exact same quality as KOTM. Unless they suddenly decide to be generous again.

Thanks for the update ! I missed out on the CD for Skull Island and it next to impossible to find a CD copy. Also hard to find a CD copy of the first Godzilla

I think K:SI's soundtrack was exclusive to Water Tower's store. At least, that's what shows up on my email invoices. Not sure if they even still have a store now.
