Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Although I appreciate the reference I have to disagree with you there.

Yup, the UK Enter the Dragon comes with the 3 new featurettes, and 8 glossy cards packed in a nice shiny slipbox. The slipbox is just cardboard, not as solid as the North American release.

Thanks for the update. I watched the movie and was disappointed given all the rave reviews I'd heard about it.

The Raid, IP Man films blow away the hand to hand fighting in this one. Guess it just doesn't hold up that well over time.

For a 70s fighting film it holds up juust fine. Most current fighting movies I don't find entertaining. Ip Man 1 & 2 I regret wasting time on. But ah well, different strokes for different folks.

I don't know if you're familiar with the other Bruce Lee movies but IMO, Enter the Dragon is the weakest one (or at least my least favorite). I'm not counting Game of Death. It is just unfortunate that since it's the only one with an american production, it's the one that Bruce Lee is known for.
If you watch Fist of Fury, Big Boss and the Way of the Dragon, BL's skills as a martial artist are very impressive.

Some pretty solid deals on Amazon.ca right now. Looks like mostly Warner stuff...

$6.99 for the following 2 packs. Best thing is they are two discs so you're getting uncompressed versions of both films.

$13.97 - From Here to Eternity

Plus alot of Digibooks on sale for $15.99

Man who Would be King
Deliverance
North by Northwest
The Matrix
All the Presidents Men
Clockwork Orange
Malcolm X

A lot of their box sets are super cheap too. Kubrick limited is $70, eastwood is $65, friends is $132. That just showed up from my saved list, so there are probably more. Hope the sale lasts through the weekend so I can get to Best Buy and price match.

Yup, stuff that's labelled Paramount that's now distributed by Warner. I asume they're getting rid of them to print them up with their own name, at a new higher price, so grab 'em while you can.

I picked up 6 of them, 3 that were on my wish list and 3 just because they're cheap and OK movies. It "kills" me that I bought several of the discs in the twofers at each disc 2-3X what the twofer costs.

That Ben Hur + Ten Commandments is a ridiculous deal, with 4 BDs for $7. Both good movies that look excellent on BD. Don't let the exact subject matter scare you off, just pretend it's something else if you have to lol, it's the old-time spectacle that we don't see much of anymore.

How does Amazon Prime work?

From my understanding, you Pay $79 bucks a year and get free shipping on single items regardless of cost anytime you want?

Correct. $79.00 + tax for 12 months of Amazon Prime. You'll get free two-day shipping on anything that has the Prime logo beside the price, regardless of the total value of the order.
