Edit: I'm gonna wait until it's confirmed that the UK trilogy doesn't have a ratings logo on the box (I already own the individual releases anyway). I really hate that. My UK Alien Quad set has that ugly ratings logo, but at least it has better packaging that the U.S. version. Last edited by Captain Mal; 11-27-2012 at 05:54 PM. |

Personally, I'm not crazy about the cowl edition. It looks kinda chincy to me. I'm going with the Target digibook or just the regular edition.

I'm hesitant because the other picture with the ratings logo doesn't look like a spec sheet of paper on the outside of the box. It looks like it's on the box and I've bought UK sets in the past that had the logo on the box.

FYI, the Dark Knight Rises Second Screen app has been updated and is fully functional if you already have the BD.
You can explore the app if you don't have the BD now with a few featurettes that are already available. What's somewhat said, and the Dark Knight Rises app isn't the first app to do it, is that basically the special features on the disc are the ones on the Second Screen app. I truly think that the studios will head even more in this direction, meaning we'll be downloading apps after apps in order to get all the special features. I'm 50/50 on the possibility of that... |

I pre-ordered the Target exclusive but the more I look at the Best Buy Steelbook the more impressed I get with it...I've never bought Steelbooks before as I prefer soft covers...can someone tell me if the disc(s) are inside the steelbook (when you open the tin) floating around or is the standard Blu-ray packaging inside the disc?

Just saw all versions of "The Dark Knight Rises" on DVD and BD (including the limited edition with the broken cowl and the boxed set with all 3 films) at a local store nearby. I did not know it would be available in Brazil before the USA and Europe.

I'm not saying for sure because I don't have the set, but with the Indiana Jones UK collector's edition the logos were on peel-off stickers.
