Sucker Punch - it is what it is; pulp fiction. What the hell were you expecting?

Outland

Who would've thought airlocks opening and closing for two hours could be so edge of your seat.

Transformers-Revenge of the fallen

Besides the dumb twins, stupid lines like "I'm underneath the robot's balls", mom eating a green brownie, and wheelie... it was a good flick

It's what I expected... popcorn entertainment! I'm no movie guru but I sure as hell enjoyed the crap out of it!!!

Lady in the Water

I absolutely love the movie. I think people are so quick to hate it, that they don't even take the time to understand it. Oh well, I still dig it.

Same thing goes with:
Spanglish
Revolutionary Road (This movie is too damn good to hate)
The Incredibles (It's one of Pixar's best)
Holes (My favorite live action Disney movie)
Towelhead
Bad Boys II (So much cheesy over-the-top fun. I want a 3rd one)
Grease 2 (A solid and worthy sequel to the first)
The Green Hornet (I LOVED IT)

Wild, Wild West
Though far from perfect, this is a fun comic-book style western/fantasy. I don't know what people were expecting out of it. Maybe it was marketed differently.

Cars

For some reason this is always seen as the "lowliest Pixar film." It was better than Wall-E. I'd put this in the same category, but maybe a notch slightly below the Toy Storys...but the characters are at the top of the list for me. There's a reason why merchandise sells -- it connects. They capture the imagination.

O' Brother, Where Art Thou
For many, this absolute classic is seen as one of the Coen Brother's lesser films. But thankfully so. We don't need no "tourists" here anyway!

Sucker Punch -

Not a great film but IMO not as bad as people say it is. Sad part is almost everyone went in with preconceived predjudices of the film thinking it was just another crummy action flick held up by girls in revealing clothing.

When the movie turned out to
[Show spoiler] be so serious and really show how girls are mistreated by men all the time and are used and in the movie getting killed the audience got "sucker punched". The movie was far more then cute girls kicking butt. In fact it made fun of the " cute girls kicking butt " culture by making us no better then the men watching the erotic dances. We watched the erotic dances and enjoyed them. How so? The action scenes were the dances.

Elitest critics refuse to acknowledge they were "sucker punched" so they still mindlessly bash the movie on preconceived notions.
