BTW, visit a Wal-Mart. They re-released these and they seem to have been stocking it. Looks visually the same.

The new release at Walmart is different art. There were two releases at BB, first was G1 and the second was G2, both using the same art, but the Walmart release uses different art.

But the paint job really makes the separate areas pop.
I have the original G1 release from BBY (kept it as it fit multiple discs), but I've been thinking of double dipping. I might wait two weeks til the SB's at Walmart drop from $13 to $10.

Artwork is actually different than the standard (no amorphous Parallax blob attacking). (No interior artwork).

I do love the exterior of that one more than the UK version.
Would've been perfect with interior artwork though.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. I was hoping to get the answer here an not clutter up the forum with a new thread. I have the Future Shop exclusive steelbook which has a different artwork (not too fond of it). I was thinking of buying this edition, specially since i saw on the main site that they have it new for 5.49$. When i click to buy, it only shows me the 13.98$ price. Am i missing something?

The 13.98 is what Amazon is selling it for. The 5.49 is what third party sellers are selling it for. These are the people who have used, new copies or whatever and they put them up for sale on the marketplace.

the third party options are listed under the sales price, or add to cart option depending on how your browser opens up amazon, or if youre on mobile or not, however the pirce does not include shipping, with shipping its only about 1 dollar or two difference from the 13 and change amazon itself has it for, plus tax depending on the state, youre better off waiting for black friday.
