Good. Capitalism Baby. Businesses are supposed to compete for our money not collude to maintain an inflated fixed price.

I had the same thing. Apparently when your card arrives, you have to activate it, and at that point the theaters should show up.

There's always the option of the dollar theater ($6 dollar theater in my area) showing first-rate Hollywood films released in theaters 3 months ago.

It ain't free. Ryan Gosling has an Amex bill to pay like the rest of us.

Seems like a good deal. $10 for a film is more than I'm comfortable with so this is good news for me.

I'd say these days 90% of the movies I go to are matinees anyways. I haven't been to a Thurs night release in forever (since they moved it to 5-7pm Thursday instead of the hype Midnight releases). The last Thursday releases I went to was Force Awakens (everyone and their mother did) and Rogue One. Last Jedi might be the next.

really interesting thing I noticed with the e-tickets. The Dolby Cinema showings aren't seperated or listed as Dolby Cinema in the Movie pass app. At least it isn't for the theater by me... Wonder if I reserved my ticket for Dolby Cineam if Movie pass wouldn't know it's premium and just think that was the cost for that showing????

Used mine for the first time last night. The self-serve kiosk at AMC wouldn't read the QR code on my phone for some reason, but when I went to the actual employee at the box office is scanned right away. Maybe I was holding it wrong?

Wind River tonight.
Big Sick tomorrow.

Getting my money's worth way before I even get the card in the mail.

I'm definitely excited to get mine in the mail so I can start using it; there are 7 or 8 movies on my radar either out now or out by the end of September, so I'll definitely be getting my money's worth haha

I'm glad I can get to the AMC theaters without the card, but I cannot wait until the card comes so I can start going to Alamo. With the amount of money I'm going to spend on dinners there, I don't even know if this MoviePass deal will be worth it. lol

Think of it as MoviePass is allowing you to afford to eat dinners there

I'm assuming it does, but does this card allow you to see movies anywhere? It's not limited to your home market?

Like I plan on doing a little road trip from Denver > Vegas > LA > San Diego...can I stop and see a movie with my pass at each of these cities?!

Yes, but outside your home market you're only allowed to see Madea movies

I've traveled from Coast to Coast using MoviePass with no issues at any theaters listed.

The website finally let me sign up so I'm officially on board. I think I'll ride this membership out until this company inevitably goes out of business.

Anyone have any issues getting paypal window to pop up and stay up? The past couple days I have tried to sign up using paypal, but each time the window would pop up, it would immediately close. I have tried three different browsers on my desktop, two mobile browsers on my iPhone (tried on wifi and cellular) and iPad and even the mobile app, but it will not open/keep open the paypal window so I can enter my info. Anyone have any ideas as to why I can't open the paypal window?

It did the same thing to me and I ended up using my debit card.

Thinking about joining in September and have some questions.

Can you use one debit card for multiple accounts? I always go with my brother and so each of us having our own accounts would be great since the service only allows 1 ticket per day.

Can you buy tickets in advance? So let's say we go to the movies on September 3rd to see a movie and we want to buy at the theater tickets for It coming on the 8th as well. Can it be done?

How long does it take for the master card thing to arrive?

Thanks.
