All indications are that it will include the 2D version (it's rare for a 3D Blu-ray release not to include the 2D version as well). As for extra features, nothing has been confirmed yet from what I've read.

This is how the release is described on Foxconnect: THE ULTIMATE HUNTING TROPHY – This limited-edition gift set includes an exclusive keepsake sculpture with removable mask to celebrate the arrival of Predator on Blu-ray 3D™ — plus the 2D Blu-ray™ and DVD versions of the movie, along with hours of out-of-this-world extras! Very interesting! Looks like Dawn of the Dead will be converted to 3D: http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/687...ersion-its-way This is in the 3D forum : https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...38#post7864638 Last edited by raygendreau; 07-23-2013 at 02:34 AM. |

Someone with a twitter account might want to ask Finn if 3D and 2D are on the same disk and what extras are included.
From twitter: John Mitchell @Orville89 1h @FinnAtFox Hi, i just read that Predator is getting a new remaster for the 3d blu-ray, any chance for a 4k scan? Greetings from Germany :-) James Finn @FinnAtFox 1h @Orville89 new remaster for Blu-ray 3D that also come with a new master on Blu-ray. Out in December. |

This appears to support the use of the JVC Kenwood auto conversion process for Predator 3D. They quote a German site as the source:
"3D Conversion JVC Technology 2Oth Century Fox is working on the conversion to 3D stereoscopic format with JVC Kenwood technology in order to keep the costs down - some says it will cost around one third of the usual 50,000 to 70,000 $ per minute." http://www.stereoscopynews.com/hotne...d-of-2013.html http://floost.com/technologytell-pos...-works-2095817 It was no coincidence that the clips shown in the Comic Con Predator booth were on a top of the line JVC display. Someone should ask Finn. Tyler? Last edited by raygendreau; 07-23-2013 at 04:22 AM. |

Ugh...another Predator release on Blu-ray? Don't get me wrong, but I thought that last one wasn't that bad with regards to picture quality, much better than the first release. But if it's a 4K transfer, that would be quite nice.

And it should have all the extras and commentary from the old DVD.
