Alas, Kong and Godzilla don’t have any - unless they keep them well hidden.

Both are usually considered male (the exception being the Matthew Broderick film, where Godzilla was female). I think when Kylor said “be the woman” he meant Kong would be the one that takes it.

Doesn't Toho have it that Godzilla doesn't get killed by Legendary? Or was it that he needed to be a hero? I can't remember, just that Toho made certain rules for us to have Godzilla back.

Possible Godzilla vs. Kong Plot Details Leaked!!

Do not discuss openly

[Show spoiler]

This comes from the script pages/script from the script supervisor(for those who don't know what that is: it's the man or woman who makes sure there are no continuity errors between shots, keeps track of how long certain shots are, writes notes for the editor to pay attention to during editing, comments from the director, etc...). I'm not going to reveal my position, as I'd be fired if I did.

Read no further if you don't want spoilers! I'll still put spoiler tags over the biggest spoilers, just as a precaution if you can't control the urge to read.

1)What's been said is true: there is a clear victor in the fight between Kong and Godzilla.>! This victor is Godzilla. However, Kong does not "***** out" or job the fight. Godzilla has to go up to his "Alpha" mode (or Burning Godzilla as we all know him) to be able to take Kong. Before that (even in his blue "threat display" mode) Kong is the top fighter, outclassing Godzilla in speed and strength. Godzilla is much more durable though, tanking a few blows that would definitely destroy mountains with ease.

All the Titans from KotM appear, however only 5 Titans aren't just a cameo. These Titans are Godzilla and Kong (obviously), the two Titans designated as "Methuselah" and "Abbadon" and the Titan that is created by Jonah Alan, whom he calls "The Titan Destroyer" or "Destroyer" for short (yes, it's him, in a way). Methuselah and Abbadon are used as fodder to show how powerful Destroyer is. The others, like Rodan are only shown in a cameo during one of the post credits.

There's 5 Titan Fight scenes in the movie. The first one is Godzilla vs. Kong on Skull Island, the second one is Kong vs Destroyer on Skull Island, third one is Godzilla vs Destroyer on Hawaii (this is where Methuselah and Abbadon are used as well, Godzilla appears to stop the two from fighting and Destroyer comes in, killing them both and squaring up against Godzilla), fourth one is Kong and Godzilla vs Destroyer on Skull Island and the fifth one is special: Godzilla vs Kong rematch (more on that later).

There is a human subplot but it takes more of a back-seat to the Titans in this one. Think how SHIELD was handled in Avengers, with the Avengers being the Titans and Monarch being SHIELD. The focus is much more on the Titans in this one.

They handle the Titans a bit differently in this movie. With different, I mean that they are given more emotions and "human" like qualities. At first I was a bit apprehensive about it as well but one of the notes explained it pretty well: it's to convey how humanity's view on Titans has evolved from the first time they were shown. In Godzilla 2014 they were more animalistic. In KotM they became a bit more "aware", showing that they were more intelligent than just animals working on instinct. Here, it's shown that they are very intelligent creatures, capable of forming alliances, which is why Jonah wants them gone.

The relationship between Kong and Godzilla is a special and interesting one. I can best describe it as Kong being the Vegeta to Godzilla's Goku. This is shown in their interactions: In the first fight Kong refuses to yield to Godzilla, even when the latter is in Burning Mode and clearly outclasses Kong. He does not bow or kneel and is clearly willing to pay the ultimate price before he'd yield. However, by the end of the movie, there is a mutual respect between the two, which accumulates in their rematch during the first part of the end credits and what happens during one of the post credits.

There are two post credits scenes: one Titan related and one Human related. The Titan one features all the other Titans on Skull Island, where Skull Island is given the name "Monster Island" by Russell's voice over. The Human one features Jonah who is disappointed with the results of Destroyer and reveals the next step of their plans: Project Kiryu.

The first part of the End Credits, before the title crawl, is going to be spectacular (if they don't change them, read this spoiler at your OWN risk, but it excites me too much not to share) From what I've read, Godzilla is about to leave Skull Island when Kong challenges him again, albeit in a less "I'm going to kill you" manner but more a "lets finish what we started and see who reigns supreme" kind of way. Godzilla accepts this challenge, going into his Alpha mode immediately. They charge at each other and as they are about to clash, you'd expect that it'd cut to black like all movies do, however, the fight continues during the first part of the end credits. The note beside it read that Adam (Wingard) wants it to be as epic of a fight as possible, with shots being slowed down to really show the impact of the attacks. Neither Godzilla nor Kong pull their punches. It ends with a recreation of the classic "Kong is about to shove a tree down Godzilla's throat" shot, which should then freeze frame into a classic "wrestling" or "boxing" type of poster (old time-y brownish paper, black ink silhouettes of the Titans in those poses) with the title "Godzilla vs. Kong" underneath.

^It didn't take me too far in to tell it's fake.
[Show spoiler]Rodan can't cameo if he's dead and Project Kiryu. Seriously? Lol

Considering the original is SUPER cheesy lol, I’d say them odds are in the remake’s favor.

Idk who I’m rooting for, but my wife is rooting for Kong. She doesn’t care for Godzilla

Way I see it, Kong wouldn't stand a chance against Ghidorah. The fact that Godzilla can (at least from the trailers) makes me lean more towards Godzilla winning. The movie could surprise me and let Kong win though.

I'm going to reveal a major spoiler, so if you really want to know...

[Show spoiler]The end credit scene in kotm, has Charles Dance buying a something infected by the O.D a severed ghidorah head, or something mutated by that weapon from a fisherman, this head gets severed during an early fight with Goji, and Ghidorah, they use the oxygen destroyah which severely wounds Goji, but has no effect on ghidorah. It is rumored that he creates some mutation from it, and it shows up in this film.

Remember Legendary only has rights to Kong, and the monsters in kotm, so if Destroyah does show up it would be a variation not the actual one, unless they are keeping it under wraps that they were allowed to use it for this film.

So I'm guessing Godzilla and Kong will have a
[Show spoiler]Martha (or in this case, Mothra)
moment in the film then.

If Godzilla doesn't become friends with King Kong after they decide they're equally matched in battle, then I don't know what to say. They'll unite as a team to fight a greater evil is my bet for Godzilla vs Kong 2020.
