I was looking at the site last night but when I tried this morning I got the same error.

I think that clicking on the link to the store in this thread sent me to the (secure) site.

Cane River (BLU) (Digipak) -Totally independent, homegrown slice of life tale of a Black couple in late '70s / early '80s New Orleans. It's just an easy going time spent with people who have dreams about life.


Coherence (DVD) (Digipak) - Saw this years ago and remember liking it. The less said the better because it's best if you watch it without knowing anything. But it's kind of like a weird little mystery. I know some will think I'm a dummy for not getting the Blu-Ray but this is a $50,000 movie and not some 70mm Tarantino epic, so I'm just OK with the DVD. (The Blu does have a commentary track that the DVD doesn't though.)


Embrace Of The Serpent (BLU) - Very cool, dream-like tale of indigenous people and colonizers.

November (BLU) - Great looking and quite engaging Estonian folk fantasy. Really dug it.

VHYes (DVD) (Digipak) - This is movie that I've seen get a lot of hate, but I really liked it. It was shot on video and made to look like some worn-out VHS tape from the '80s. It's kinda like a comedy that starts getting weirder and weirder as it goes on. I bought the DVD because I don't think the video quality would be any better on Blu-Ray considering how it was made.


I would've gotten Relaxer, but I picked up a Region 0 DVD from Deep Discount not too long ago. The movie is definitely an acquired taste but I think it's Potrykus' best film that I've seen. Again, I don't know if many people will like it, but I thought it was disgustingly hilarious. In a way I think it sums up perfectly the lives of so many people who have chosen to retreat from reality and sink themselves in an isolated world where playing video games all day is life's biggest achievement.

Probably not much, but the Blu-ray does have 2 lossless/uncompressed audio choices. It's only a few dollars difference between them after the discount.

I grabbed the Blu-ray last year when Amazon had it for $9. I think only the "digipak" packaging is available direct though.

Yeah, I had this movie on my wishlist for a while and remember it going down on Amazon but I stupidly didn't jump on it, figuring I'd play the waiting game and see if it got even lower but instead it shot back up. But, yes, at least I'm getting the digipak, which I think looks cool, DVD or not.

Ah, I think I'd clicked reply before that addition. Agreed! I've seen that on occasion too, and think it could have been good. Always reminds me of when you'd get too loud at a sleepover and a groggy parent would come in and tell you to keep it down, lol.

Yeah, their shipping has always been brutal. They did briefly offer media mail in the US which saved you a few bucks but stopped years ago.

They're pretty much ripoff artists when it comes to shipping charges. I order movie soundtracks sometimes, but just grab them from Intrada or elsewhere (but never BSX) whenever possible.

Their website is beginning to look like it's a relic from the stone age also...
