I know, I know - I did it so-so last time, this time there'll be a better, cleaner attempt at it.

It seems that DeAngelo Williams won most people their championships... its been a common denomiator in just about every league. (you can't say A$$ on here buddy.)

Merry Christmas.

Thanks, ol buddy - I wanted to see if I could stretch the 94, but at $1400, I couldn't - plus, the great deal I got on the 03 at Best Buy was incredible. Who knows! If I happen to "stumble upon" $400 in the next month, an exchange might be in order! Then you'll get my review -

Thanks to Pete aka Roland, whose FF payout I used to buy Event Horizon on Blu,

AHHH IS IT FRIDAY YET I WANNA SET UP AND TAKE PICS

I just finished everything - now I need to wait for my camera to charge...and then pics - probably tomorrow morning! AHHH

PS - The Pioneer is EVERYTHING I thought it would be - all the problems I had with the Marantz are gone! I have to rewatch every movie - and there is a difference, I'm hearing (only played Transformers so far) between the Bitstream of the BD35 and the LPCM of the PS3 - more data to come later...

Jason, I was going to PM you about the receiver - it is EVERYTHING that the Marantz wasn't. The crackle/static problem - gone! Power, depth, substance to the speakers - incredible! Options - so many more! Calibration - the MCACC of Pioneer is hordes better than the Audyssey of the Marantz! It does standing wave and reverb calculations that I can upload to my computer and fine tune everything! The receiver itself is a hell of a looker as it is...

It's like the past 3 months with the Marantz were a waste of time.

I have to watch EVERY movie I've seen since September 9th ALL over again!

Maybe it's the BD35 + Pioneer combo, but I'm hearing nuances I've never heard before in movies - maybe bitstreaming off a standalone might be different than a PS3 using LPCM - but don't quote me on this...it's wonderful!

Once I'm done with breakfast, I'm tackling more movies - yesterday, 300 and Transformers - today, who knows?!

(If you can't tell, I'm finally audio-happy)

Congrats. I felt the same way when I switched out the old sony for the new one. Oh, and i will let you slide a few days with regards to mailing the firmware update, I'm sure the excitement is hardly containable at the moment.

Congrats again.

It's official - after watching 3:10 to Yuma, there really is no comparison between the way I used to listen and the way I do now. I'm getting all teared up, wondering why I wasted 3 months of movie watching!

I'll watch some of my Netflix'd flicks now to continue my analysis of the 03 - got Die Another Day and Mongol here...

...the beginning of Die Another Day was incredible as it is!

...Outside of the cheesyness.

Hell Yea JJ! Glad to hear this has worked out so well for you, although it sucks you had issues with the Marantz. You experience has certainly scared me off the refurb route. Keep us up to date as you progress things....sub or something was next right?

Back to work
