oh snap, the wife went to Ottawa today to pick up her friend, and when i got home from work just now, sitting on the island counter in my kitchen was a pair of CR-10's with 100ft of speaker wire, oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. and my beer is cold too!!!!!!!!!!

i got the old lady to pick'em up for me, i knew that she was going down to Ottawa and i told her to stop at FS and if they were there to pick them up, and if not, i would have just ordered them online when i got home today. but low and behold, when i hot home, there they were gleaming in the sunshine beaming in thru my kitchen window, lol. and my beer is still cold, might as well slam down one more before bed, all in all, its been a pretty good day

Today I decided to take off my speaker grills on my Rc-30, rc mini center and Rc-10, it seem like they open up more or more dynamic now that the grills are off. Could this be possible?

yea, it is very likely that it felt that way. they have too much going on with the grills, so takign them off will help them sound better.

OK, so we know there is going to be a Veritas line in October..... with at least 2 towers. And probably between the $3-4k dollar range.... but what we are missing is that series that should fall between the $1k+ range to the $3k range.

The RCLCR is not on sale yet..... what is interesting is that Energy kept the C-series on their site for a full year after the CF/CB/CC lineup was announced.

The C-300s are discontinued, the only person I have ever talked to about the C-300 being on their site is because they still have stock.... the only dealer I know with the C-300s is world wide stereo... which has them listed at $250 each, and they are well worth it, it just sucks they don't have any C-C100s to go with it, if there was, shoot, that would be every entry level speaker buyers gift.

I need some help picking speakers. I plan on getting this receiver http://www.accessories4less.com/make...eceiver/1.html

and I was going to get the RC210 speakers but they are all sold out so I'm looking at these http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/it..._c=site_search

Any ideas?

the CB-20s would be great speakers for a front setup, pair it with the CC-10 and you will have a great setup. Marantz always does well with Energy speakers, so you should have a good pairing with those two.

Cool thanks. I was going to get the RC10s but they are out so I guess I'll go with the CB-20s for now. I'm just buying the receiver and speakers for now. I will probaly get a sub after that.

I was also wondering if there is anything speical I might need. Such as cable or something.

If you go to a type of speaker such as the tower then look to the left and there is a "Product Archive" link, the RCs are found there.
