But at least they were 2 for 12 so it's not like that deal was any better than this one

If they were 2 for 16 and now they are 6.99 a piece, then yeah.

Very true...I ended up getting Apocalypto since I still have not watched it yet and only came out to £7.63 shipped with the ZVC5 code.

For some reason the zavvi discount code wouldnt work when I purchased 30 days of night yesterday.

I used the 2 for 12 code (2412SB) and got Apocalypto and The Road for about US$20 shipped, which is a good deal. But then I saw Apocalypto fell in price, so I tried to purchase the two again to see if I could get them even lower, but the 2for12 code didn't work anymore, so I think the price drop was for the Midnight deal and the 2for12 was no longer valid at that point... Nonetheless I got Apocalypto at a great price with the code.

If I needed any of the other steels in the 2 for 12 I would have bit but I did not so I am pretty happy Apocalypto not only mysteriously came back into stock but also got a nice price drop.

Still never watched it so pretty psyched to get it.

IMHO, you are in for a treat. Action, tension, visuals, story.... all great. Like or dislike Mel, you can't deny he is/was a great film-maker. Make sure that at some point after you watch the movie, you re-watch it with the Commentary. It was very interesting/entertaining listening to Mel and how they made the movie.

Even going through the email they sent me the code still won't work. Contacted their customer support about it. They'll probably get back to me tomorrow and by then the promo will have expired anyway. Ohhhhh that Zavvi. Now I remember why I rarely bother to even look at their site.

I thought with the link from the email it would work for everyone.

If it's any consolation .... it seems the code isn't working at all anymore now

I used the code to place an order before when I posted & it worked fine .... and then just tried it again just now and both thru that link as well as direct from the emailed link, it doesn't work now
