Bought:
Predator 3D and My Bloody Valentine 3D. Might go get Pompeii 3D. Really excellent 3D effects. PWSA uses real 3D cameras, so whatever you think of his films, the 3D are usually stellar. Yes, to a few past posts: Man in the Dark, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and House of Wax are fricking awesome in 3D Blu-ray. Probably in the Top 10 or Top 5. I wish the second Creature film was released in 3D Blu too, as well as whenever Dragonfly Squadron and The Bubble get released. Funny, those '50s 3D films are just so much fun and feature great depth and in your face effects than 80% of films today. |

Just got Hugo in 3D, and apparently my display can't handle that movie because it was crosstalk galore. I've heard about Panasonic plasmas not having the best 3D performance, but this was pretty bad, which is a shame because the 3D in the movie looked really impressive. I'll just save it for when I get that inevitable projector in the years to come.

The 3D is really very impressive in Hugo. The movie is little slow for my taste but nevertheless, very interesting. Sorry that you are having crosstalk issues. It worked fine on my LG passive 3D TV. Definitely check it out when you get a chance. |

[quote=omahajon;9243320]Can anyone confirm the 3 Musketeers 3D Blu-ray still at Wal-Mart?
I saw it in 2 out 4 stores within the past 2 weeks. Is it worth $7.88? From what I have read here on the forums, (and viewing myself ) the answer is yes. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-T...7/#UserReviews https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...+review&page=7 |

Thanks for sharing. Probably my next 3D purchase. I actually also enjoyed the story. Felt like watching Titanic in a different setting. ![]() |

Nurse 3D. This wannabe cult movie is never as much camp fun as it thinks it is and the fact that is told from the POV of the title character means there aren't many surprises along the way. Paz de la Huerta channels her own off-kilter personality rather than giving anything resembling a performance, but that in itself is not uninteresting. However the film is beautifully shot, reminiscent of the films of Brian De Palma and Dario Argento and the 3D is some of the best I've recently seen.

Yes. I said it was equal parts, GLADIATOR, DANTE'S PEAK and TITANIC. It was fun, and good (not great) 3D. Why producers of such a gimmick picture like POMPEII would show restraint with regard to pop outs, baffles me! |
