I've been readin on GAF that to reach level 30 you need 3 pieces of raid gear. So a LOT of luck is involved. I suggest you guys use this Queen's wrath event to get yourselves to level 28 and then save all your shards for raid gear. I am just about 28 now and tbh, the extra defence/light boost is NOT worth getting rid of 6 shards.

I suppose the other element that comes into place is that the raid gear stats may suck for your weapob set ups. I favour scout and auto rifles for instance. Apparently raid rewards are only available once per week, but the more time you finish it, the higher a chance of getting better gear the week after.

That comes from a friend who's team have done it 5+ times now.

Use the proper damage type, and the boss fall quick. The Mars one, you'll need void damage for the little PITA cabals, they have purple shields. For the Bosses, yellow health bar enemies, solar damage. When you first start any mission for the Queen, hit the touch pad and in the lower left you'll see three emblems. The first is for the Queen, the second is for the damage type to use, or "burn" and the last is usually "Angry", meaning there are more than normal mobs. All of this only applies only to the restricted zones. Take your time and you can solo them easily, with the right weapon damage type.

So I'm playing some Rumble matches and the guy that comes dead last with only 3 kills gets an exotic weapon!

I swear it's like you shouldn't even try in PvP so you can get the good items.

So that letting the Minotaur kill you trick didn't work for us so we just killed him and I worked on damage as the other 2 watched out for him.

Pretty easy overall. I now have a glowing helmet.

Radioactive items can kill

You mean you got that 'flame' effect the nightfall gives or an actual exotic helmet that glows?

By playing Strikes, and finishing off Levels or even playing Crucible. It will come naturally.

When do you want to go. I hope to beat it late tonight with another group, but if what was said about the probability of drops next week, more is better. I've now done the whole Raid, except for the last boss, just not all at the same time. It was much faster to get there this time.

Eventually, you will be dismantling several of those per day.

You can pick patrol on Earth and go to the spot where the Devil Walker is during the Devil's Lair strike. There's one there. After you take him down, you can head back to space and do it again.

Nice, Bailey05 in the Blu Clan thread also mentioned Public Events. Hopefully I can get some time to do that. I want to get my Vanguard Marks but there's soooo many different things to do.

Just play the devils lair strike on earth. You have to kill a walker to continue. Once it's dead you can either finish the strike or just go back to orbit then start it again

Much faster than doing it in patrol.

I hit level 26 this morning, and I'm only missing legendary gauntlets as far as armor goes. With about 35 more crucible marks, I can buy the New Monarchy gauntlets. Hoping to hit 27 tonight whilst farming spirit bloom and helium for upgrades. I've only got a couple legendary weapons, a sniper with arc damage and machine gun with solar damage. I'd like to think I'm ALMOST raid ready.
