Well the guy I usually deal with told me the millennia series is more money with pretty much the same drivers and speakers. I really need to demo them to know I guess. Thanks for your input

got a question for BHulk & Blaze, each of you have large center channel speakers like mine. i am looking to get a stand for my Axiom VP180v3 center and since it's about the same size as the center you guys have i have a question for you.

is the center each of you have store purchased/stock and if so, would you provide the site you each got yours from. and are they adjustable for the pitch to angle the speaker slightly up?

thanks guys, of course any of you folks out there that have those really large center channels speakers and have purchased special stands for them please chime in. oh yeah, please leave a working link to the site you got them from if it's possible.

please & thank you!

Hey Solarrdadd, The stand I have is a Paradigm J-18C stand purchased from my dealer. The stand does have a slight pitch to it. It also comes with floor spikes that can be adjusted as well. JB

Hey Tio

My CC-690 came with adjustable feet, so my DIY stand is flat "no tilt" being that my new stand is much taller than the old bench I was using I may have to adjust the center to sit flat instead....

Hey everybody. This is my first post and I have a question already. Can anyone recommend a good amp for a pair of studio 100's and a CC-690. I just upgraded my system and not really sure if my Denon 3808 receiver is doing these speakers justice. My Denon has pre amp outs so it should be an easy addition. Thanks!!

How much are you willing to spend on an amp?

Anthem obviously works great with Paradigm and will be the most expensive option, you can also look into Outlaw Audio or Emotiva amps.

I really like the Anthem A5. Hard to find one used. I guess my limit would be $2000.

what about a pioneer elite sc 55 or 57? It puts out 130+ watts in every channel for 9 channels, msrp 1700 and 2100

I'd really prefer a separate amp.

I used an Anthem MCA 50 for awhile when I had the 100's and 690, it worked well with them. Your better off using an external amp as your speakers require higher amounts of current than an avr can supply them.

I would say either an Emotiva XPA-3
http://emotiva.com/xpa3.shtm

Or

(3) Emotiva UPA-1 mono blocks.

I have really considered the xpa-3 but have read on other forums about some quality issues. How has your experience been with them?

I have 2 ~ XPA-5's & 1 ~ UPA-7 powering 9 speakers & 3 subwoofers and couldn't be more happier. I have never seen anything about quality issues with Emotiva amplifiers
