I never game with a mic but for Destiny I think it's a must. I use the PS4 launch mic and it gets the job done. Honestly though, I use my PS4 mic for my phone than actual gaming.

If it's another MP game like Last of Us or Madden for example. I never use a mic. Don't need to spend money on one when I have a solid HT setup.

Ditto, I'd never use a mike for any games (save MechWarrior4 a decade ago) when playing online, but in this game, it's worth it. Just for the in-game humour alone.

Required Level 28 right? Well don't continuously play during the day time without me. The next time I can actually spend hours on this game is probably Sunday night. By then I better be Raid ready next week

Yup, happened to me last night. I was in the back during the strike and I didn't get credit for it which led me to believe that you had to be the one to deal the final blow to get credit for the kill (which would suck)

L26, 26. After this weekend we should both be 26/27. I have enough strange coins and motes of light (14/31) to at least buy one thing from Xur this weekend, combined with enough Vanguard marks and L2 status to finally get a decent armor set.

Last week an exotic engram was 21 motes. Of course mine decrypted into the wrong class lol

I guess you could still farm. It just takes longer. But the Moon farm still works? I'll take a gander later. But the fix of the Queen's Wrath stuff wasn't necessary.

Wow. The Queens Wrath "fix" seems more like an attempt for them to artificially extend the games lifespan by breaking their own game mechanics. Legendaries are meant to give Ascendant materiel regardless of how you get them. Pretty un called for really.

Bullshit! That shard rewards for doing bounty mission was no exploit. Well to an extent.

That Devil's Lair strike is like level 8 or level 12 or something like that. If you are level 24 or higher, it should not take more than a few minutes to kill that boss. There are places you can go where the mobs pretty much leave you alone. If you play with friends, bailing on the mission is no problem. I took the exotic weapon bounty from the Warlock Vanguard. The first part was win 5 strikes without dying. No problem, right. And what business has the Vanguard giving me a bounty involving Crucible?

Legendary gear might as well no longer be "legendary", eh? I'm just throwing them away now with Queen's Wrath. I have finished three or four of her missions and have three or four more I can do. I only am in need of a legendary heavy weapon. The rest of the stuff is just for shards and energy...which I am now reluctant to use until I get some Raid gear. NARMAK said it. Upgrades are marginal near level 28, and it takes something like 18 shards for each piece of armor. It's hard not to use the stuff. I saved Legendary engrams for a while, too, but couldn't help myself.

Which brings up something else. NARMAK, did you actually get any good gear drops on your Raid? I have yet to get anything but Ascendant material. The other guys have gotten some cool weapons, both from chests and as seemingly random drops.

I used the PS4 earbud last night for essentially the first time. It was not awesome but served the purpose. There is no excuse for playing without a mic. I don't care if it's not comfortable. It's a small price to pay.

I've gotta go back to work. Inspectors here today. I'll be back. I have more.

Literally just got a chest piece for my titan in the semi-boss area before Aetheon. Just hoping to level it. Perks are a bit crap imo, cause I favour auto rifles and scout rifles.

Bungie are already screwing us over in many ways. Them doing this though is really disappointing. The Queens wrath is already a limited event, so I am disappointed hy their decision to screw gamers who were using this to finally try and play Vault of Glass.

Maybe they shouldn't offer 6 bounties (potentially 18 shards). 2 or 3 bounties would be enough for low level players to get their armor and still allow the higher levels to farm shards to rank up amor slowly.

Even though I am guilty of farming the loot cave for hours across my two characters I am happy they patched it. However, improvements need to be made in the loot drops and cryptard. I would prefer to patrol or do strikes but what's the point when I get one low level blue from a strike or just vanguard marks from public events?

As for Queens Wrath I was already disappointed that we didn't receive any new missions or story content. Same recycled areas I've already been to dozens of times. Also want to mention I didn't get credit for two devil walker kills last night in public events. Taking away ascendant shards from queens wrath rewards really make the whole "event" pointless. Don't even get me started on the 200 fallen headshots bounty. I guess they expect people to spend hours on one bounty. Sorry, I have a job and other hobbies.

WOW!!! So they are "fixing things" that are not even issues but made the game a little bit easier but wont address the things that are obvious problems with this game. Don't get me wrong I like this game but I dont know they are making some really stupid decisions.

Is the fix already applied? That sucks. I would have played Queen's Wrath this morning rather than farm headshots and deathless strikes. Was saving the Wraths for the evening when it would be easier to find help. They added some other BS pointless content and have now installed a disincentive for those who have been playing their game. I have no reason at all now to take Queen's Wrath bounties and play the missions.

Does anyone know, if this Queen's Wrath was planned from Day 1 in its current form? Because it's reasonable that Bungie already noticed some attrition in participation that correlated with bad luck in finding quality high level weapons and armor and popped it in as a weird fix. A better and more reasonable fix would have been to tweak the cryptarch.
