This is the first movie I've seen in 4 different formats (IMAX, 3D, Dolby Cinema, standard).

Im up to 5 viewings.

We still got awkward, cringey lines from other characters though. I don't think Whedons solely to blame for that. It's just a "trademark" of the MCU.

Still, I think the humor is a bit more balanced out than it was in Phase Two.

Watched for the fifth time. I was getting worried it wouldn't hold up to that many multiple viewings but if it were playing for another week in Laser IMAX I would have watched it for a sixth and maybe even a 7th time next weekend. Sadly (but not that much) Deadpool 2 is taking over IMAX screens next weekend.

The extra headroom in the taller AR, while not vital to the film, would make for more immersive home viewing when 99% of people have 16:9 displays. Hopefully we'll have that choice on UHD blu-ray. Either way, definitely day 1 purchase, and hopefully Best Buy will have a good counterpart steelbook for Avengers 4 next year to go along with their Infinity War one.

Hope Hemsworth can get his contract extended. It's not like he's got other roles to bank as much. Thor has finally become the god of thunder he's supposed to be, it would be very interesting to see him actually stepping in Odin's shoes rebuilding and ruling Asgard, maybe marrying Sif.
Thor would fit right into cosmic MCU, he could even show up in a Guardians movie.

Thor 4 could be like, a lazy Sunday afternoon, Thor's taking a walk with Sif in the garden, Kratos comes knocking on the door. lol.

Thor 2.0 and Guardians are a match made in heaven. Since he's way more lax.

Almost like Colossus being PG-13 and stuck in the Rated-R Deadpool joke.

Thor's dialogue with Rocket(the captain thing) was IMO just as good as Quill and Thor exchanging quips about the accent.

I wonder if haircut is permanent since it sort of does represent Thor 2.0
