Didn't Sideshow ship 2 day delivery in the past? My Wicket was shipped using UPS ground and now it is stuck in a delay. No telling when I am going to get it the way deliveries have been going lately with UPS and USPS.

I've never seen anything but ground from Sideshow. Usually takes 6-7 days for me.

Captain Marvel has just arrived (UK), great looking figure, could be tricky to pose as her outfit is kind stiff and looks like it might stretch, but I'll have a look online and see what others have managed to do.

I saw there was a snowspeeder Luke due to be released second or third quarter of 2022.

Like, dang.

Well at least they should make the release date and not delay it.

That Lando looks smooth as Colt 45.

I'm getting very, very close to breaking and getting my first Hot Toys figure. I have my eyes on a few. I have a few points built up from some past statue purchases- not enough for a full figure, but about $75 worth, and I'm scheming for sure. Are the points able to be used for the down payment? I did a brief scan of the site, but couldn't find the answer (then again, I miss a lot of things). Because that would probably decide if I get anything right now.

On the checkout screen you can apply all or a portion of your reward points to anything except for waitlist reservations.

But the rewards points don’t get applied to deposit though, do they? I think I remember pre-ordering with some points in the past, but still had to pay the non-refundable deposit on the credit card I was using. Might be different if paying for an item in full with rewards points.

Lol. I totally read that wrong. No unless you use enough points to cover the full price it will still charge you a NRD.

Do they ever release a figure before the actual movie releases? I want a The Batman figure, but its looking like it's two years away

They've never done that in the past so I wouldn't expect them to. Pretty sure the license wouldn't even allow them if they wanted to.

Thanks, I was hoping for some possible precedent examples

Wow, the last post was October 2020? This thread has really died out. I have one more figure on the way and it will possibly be my last for a while as I have no room to display them. Endgame Captain America.

My most recent was the deluxe Mandalorian and child which is superb. One of the best figures I have.

Anyway, I'll close the door on my way out...

Hot Toys are just getting too expensive. A lot of people are just backing out of the hobby, especially in this whole situation where job losses and work hours reduction is so prominent. Since I started collecting about 10 years ago, pricing has very nearly doubled for 1 figure (for international buyers with all of the added fees associated with each purchase). I’ll be getting 1 more this year to use up my SS rewards and then that is 100% officially my time to bow out.

I have a couple hot toys and some other 1/6 scale stuff and just really wish they could get more licenses. Marvel, DC and Star Wars are 99% of all the releases.
