The Village is one of the most beautifully shot films I've ever seen. I quite enjoy the story as well. Definitely a shame it hasn't been revisited on Blu.

It certainly is. The dream would be a 4K disc to go with the ‘Old’ 4K release this year. Another fantastic looking film.

Have The Village on DVD, would settle for BD but hope it will make to UHD BD.

... putting on my conspiracy theory hat, I have to believe there are some shenanigans at play as to how THE VILLAGE has escaped a bluray release when some absolute crap gets UHD treatment.

Millions watch and listen to inferior quality. SiriusXM is a good example, road noise is not enough to mask how bad it sounds in an auto but they have millions of subs.

SiriusXM does allow you to listen to what you want even if it isn't comparable to good music subscription. Most of the regional local AM/FM station content/quality is awful. But SiriusXM does offer immediate access to news when traveling, that you find totally lacking OTA when on the road.

I see that but it was only for PS\Xbox. They did have a PC digital deal for $20.99 but I missed that one as well. I will have to keep an eye on that site. Thanks for the heads up.

We did sub to Sirius for several years, 1 tuner in the media room (connected to an Onkyo PR-SC5508 Sirius input) and two autos. Now, for auto use I saved my music library to micro thumb drives as VBR 320 Kbps MP3. Auto weather, traffic, news, alerts, etc. comes in via GPS via FM receiver and/or connected cell phone.

After I saw The Happening ......... I bought a copy

It's a terrible film not in a good way at all. But, I adore Zoey so much and I do believe it was under $1 when I bought it used on Blu.

I may still have The Village on DVD. Loved it.

Why does that bug you, like you got all the Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar/Disney Animation out there along with other assorted content in 4K. Perhaps you are expecting what's on Disney plus or Fox titles that have yet to come out on 4K?

Mostly Fox stuff. I don't expect original series to be released on physical media.
