Love & Mercy was better. But not much.

I would like Sofia Coppola to reshoot the scenes of Josh Hartnett's character as an older guy in 'Virgin Suicides' with Josh Hartnett (now that he is older) now playing the older version of his character instead of Michael Pare. It's the only thing that bugs me about the movie, I have a hard time accepting the two actors as the same character. They don't look remotely alike.

Examples from both of these movies are facts.
sigh... okay--- how about 3 or 4 times?

do we really need to debate this? It is commonly known that movies that use multiple F bombs get an R rating.... this has never changed.
Great, you found a couple exceptions to the rule... but those are just that... exceptions.

Die Hard 1, 2, and 3 used the F word well over 10 times... this was the "norm" for DIE HARD movies... can we agree then that if LFDH used this amount of F bombs in would get an R rating??

I don't think your comment would be all that unpopular. I do agree with you. I have yet to watch Weird, though.

The film kind of ruined Walk the Line for me. Only in that when I watch it and have to take it seriously, I can't stop picturing being cut in half with a machete.

Movies that use multiple f bombs get R ratings? Some do, not all. Twice is still considered multiple times. And they're exceptions? Here are some more "exceptions" (some with 3 utterances, which you asked for):

As Good As it Gets (3 f bombs)
The American President (3 f bombs)
Antwone Fisher (3 f bombs)
The Social Network
Moneyball
Dodgeball
The Martian
The Tourist
Rent
Bridge of Spies
Titanic
The Adjustment Bureau
Dunkirk

Want me to name more?

I'm done... this is obviously something very important to you for some reason... I'm not going to take the time to check your examples because I really don't have the time. Have a nice evening....

The action and mayhem are a bit better. But it squandered any of the ambiguity the original retains. I love Frankenheimer and he does fine on here but he's just going through the motions.

The kid who played Damien knocks it out of the park. I also love all the Israel stuff. I find the whole story of the second one a lot more interesting.

Sure it is less ambiguous but it makes up for that by going straight for the jugular.

Game Night & Office Christmas Party are two of the most underrated comedies of the last decade.

Satire is intentionally destructive. It takes something genuine and finds reasons to point and laugh at it.

Walk the Line did itself a disservice by being so paint by numbers when it came to the portrayal of Johnny Cash's life.

The satire of Walk Hard is so deeply cutting, though, that I find myself realizing that many of the conventions it points out as ridiculous extend well beyond the musical biopic genre. I can't see Colin Farrell as 16 year old Alexander in Oliver Stone's film without breaking out into laughter now because John C. Reilly and Kristin Wiig played Dewey and Edith at fourteen, revealing how completely ludicrous the nearly 30 year old, buff Farrell just looks as the supposedly waifish teen.

I rank the original OMEN near the top of all time best horror films... but OMEN II is a great sequel!

It's all downhill from there.....

I still somewhat like The Omen III, but only somewhat. The first two are great films.

I still dig Walk the Line despite it being an obvious product of 00s filmmaking. Mangold has only evolved more since then and I'm interested to see what he does with his Bob Dylan biopic.

Final Conflict is confusing as heck and breaks canon set up in previous films, but damn does Sam Neill own the film.

Bar is low there but agreed. I'm also not sure if they purposely wrote it tongue-in-cheek or not...

I haven't watched it in forever, but I imagine that it still works reasonably well.

Still, I don't think I'd be able to get Walk Hard out of my head as it played out.
