Ragnarok by a country mile. Yeah, it's not as "dramatic" as Infinity War, but it also isn't saddled with godawful pacing.

I am really starting to think Tony did reverse engineer the Ant Man suit after his defeat and capture. Although it is pointless for him to grow big or shrink in his iron man suit, I think it gave him radical ideas that he didn't think about before.

I wonder why Pepper didn't come with Tony and Dr. Strange? It honestly would have been the perfect opportunity for her to have her own suit as I am sure Stark would have wanted something to protect Pepper when he's not around.

I have to say that "killing" Star-Lord in this film was a mistake and a missed opportunity at some tension and drama between him, Stark and eventually Rocket.

Isn't he with Gamora in the Soul Stone, that is if they find each other so there is a chance for some drama between them. They probably won't cover how things are inside the Soul Stone very much, but would hope they would cover "Life" inside the Soul Stone just a bit without taking away from the movie.

Naturally, the guy with the Bruce Campbell avatar is making sense. It seems a lot of people are frustrated with Peter's outburst, but not only was it totally in character for him, but leaving him alive would have given him the chance to actually deal with consequences for once. The problem with the scene wasn't what he did, as all of the Guardians are emotionally impulsive, the problem was that we could see it coming a mile away.

Conversely, I've seen others complain that Gamora's death was too predictable, but I think that's by design. The second Red Skull mentions a sacrifice we all knew Gamora was going over that cliff. What made the scene powerful was how clueless she was to the fact that her adoptive psychopath of a father genuinely loves her, albeit in his own sick and twisted way.

Kat Dennings' breasts are supreme.

Not only that, but there's serious disbalance in the Guardians now even though half the population was supposed to go. I know it was random, but still just 2 Guardians left (if you count Nebula)? Plus yeah Tony and Quill having to resolve their differences would've been a perfect arc for Avengers 4, and would help Quill grow as a character. And you got the "leader of the Guardians" working together with the "leader of the Avengers".

But whatever, I assume Marvel has things worked out.

Why did Drax have to die if Thanos already killed half the population on his planet. So now Thanos killed half of the already remaining half of that population. I wonder if Gamoras people also got put on the chopping block twice. Asgard's final half should be fine too right? Or did they get double dipped on too?

I also wonder how many people in the surviving half will end up dying from the rapture chaos and societal collapse. Babies' parents will disappear, planes will fall from the sky and our remaining nuclear scientists will probably have to work round the clock to maintain our power plants.

The only thing this movie was missing was a clip of Hawkeye pushing his kid on a swing, only for the kid to float away as dust.

Nah, the big differences-resolve has to be between Tony and Steve. The Tony / Quill thing is light weight in comparison.

That’s not how it works. Remember how he said he wanted a fair and unbiased random drawing to determine the outcome? His snap of the finger doesn’t discriminate against any races, despite his already dealing with those races in the past. Effectively, his snap wipes out half of the life IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. So, the populations he decimated previously will essentially be turned into 1/4.

I wonder if there are entire populations untouched, just getting on with their lives oblivious to what Thanos just did. Like an alien species just working, eating and discussing the latest episode of "Flabarnaar Live!".

I laughed so hard when Flabarnaar did his Squaliwach impression last night, it was so funny.

ETA - oh ffs, there was a social media backlash and now Flabarnaar has been taken off air for being racially insensitive, he was just playing a part he started 30 years ago!

That's messed up yo!

I know he said he wanted to be unbiased and indiscriminate. I could respect that thinking despite how messed up it is. (What I want to know is what is he gonna do in 20-40 years when those populations double again and the same problems of shortages come back). But man Thanos you already wiped out certain populations, and now you gonna double dip back into those races again? Can't put no respek on yo name for dat.

Yeah but we know Tony/Steve won’t necessarily work now that they’re on opposite sides of the universe, but I’m sure Tony will leave Titan so I could see it.

I did wonder about that, whether the populations he's already cut down to size would be unaffected by The Snappening. If they got halved again then that's harsh, man.

Something tells me Thanos didn't really think things through, considering he also never once stopped to consider what else he could do with the Gauntlet besides killing half the universe. Like, say, making more resources, or redistributing people amongst more planets. So it wouldn't surprise me if he cut down even the populations he already cut down in the past.
