China only allows 34 non-Chinese made films per year to be played on it's 72,000 screens.

Just watched Zodiac on BD today. One of David Fincher's best films and still a killer BD in terms of video/audio/special features presentation. A 4K release would be epic.

Good post. IMO all posters should read or reread the rules here. All apply, the following should not leave any doubt in anyone’s mind about how they should post on this site (emphasis mine).

Another . Does your NX7 take very long to handshake when switching resolutions and/or frame rates? In the recent JVC webcast it was mentioned the new series takes less time.

Do you have the JVC 3-D adapter?

Just got my tickets for The Eternals. Had to go with IMAX because the Dolby Cinema ones don't mesh well with my schedule for that opening weekend.

Yes and yes.

JVC is notorious for taking years to finalize a handshake. If the picture quality isn’t that good, I would’ve moved to Sony. Alas (or perhaps a good thing) that JVC look so much better than Sony (and cheaper too).

I’ll be buying the disc. The streaming version I watched had annoying amount of motion compression artefacts I couldn’t finish the movie.

Dreadful looking top 10 quality wise. Surprised and happy to see The Night House at #6 though.

Was able to switch showtimes for Halloween Kills. Am now seeing it in Dolby Cinema Thursday night instead of the non-premium one on Friday.

Thanks for the info, my Sony VW600 only take a few seconds. Now waiting to ascertain if the 4100 is worth the premium price over the 3100. Kris Deering's test of the 4100 did not make the October issue of S&V print magazine.

I personally can’t justify buying the 4100 over the 3100. But that’s purely subjective

I agree.

I see the RS4100 like the Apple Watch's that have high end finishes. Not worth while when new models come and old ones go vintage so quickly.

You all have every right to be offended and upset. This was allowed to spiral out of control as the mod that usually looks after this thread has been away for an extended period of time without us catching on to this. Again, we're sorry and will be addressing this.

Thanks for your understanding.

Yup. Especially in the past 5-6 years I’ve been changing projectors every year. Hopefully this will last me for 3-4 years.

I've averaged replacing my projector every 3 years but I usually buy much cheaper projectors and I hope this one lasts like a decade.
