I have three Movies on this List in my Digital Collection, and I have watched them all. Wonder Woman 1984, Monster Hunter, and Beetlejuice!
I bet you have access to thousands of movies via streaming that you haven't watched yet.

Yes I have access to just about any Movie or TV Show made, but in my Collection of 1000 Movies and TV Shows I have watched them at least a couple of times if not more. That's why you have a Collection, to watch your favorites!

The portion I underlined is absolute bunk. By limiting yourself to digital distribution only there are innumerable movies and TV shows that you can not access.

Only those of us that use both both physical media and digital distribution can claim to have access to the widest selection possible, but there are still a lot of titles unavailable on both. Your refusal to use physical media limits your access immensely.

It seems like everything until you go looking for something in particular.

I think the worst thing or one awful thing is when music servers get something wrong. I wanted to hear All By Myself by Eric Carmen and apple music kept playing a Celine Dion version. Also when online movie is not done well it's bad. There seems to be no lower limit to what goes on Prime.

My sister calls me often asking if I own a movie that she can not find on streaming...and quite often I do. Even if I could double the size of my collection overnight I would not pretend that I have access to "just about any movie or TV show made."

There's no shortage of meat by-products on Netflix, either. Made for TV movies are often better than what Netflix churns out.

Default UK Posters

For UK posters, in the US PBS has Masterpiece with series like Endeavour, Inspector Lewis, Grantchester, Unforgotten among others. Do you all have access to these series? If true, how?

As of now we are finishing up Unforgotten and Grantchester via PBS satellite recordings, Yellowstone via Netflix disc. Just started Earth at Night via AppleTV+, soon we will start Goliath via Amazon. Would like to see Amazon do another season of Carnival Row and Netflix do another Warrior Nun.

I'm not a UK poster, but I play one on TV.

If you don't already, you should use the PBS streaming app and become a Passport subscriber ($5 per month or $60 per year). Doing so allows you to stream most, if not all, of the content that PBS has to offer. If nothing else, it is a great way to support PBS.

Yeah, they are mostly ITV or BBC productions. ITV and BBC are our two most popular broadcast stations available for free in HD.

We have a new streaming service (Britbox) that is starting to make exclusives so it’s possible that certain new productions will be stuck behind a paywall but in general, we get a lot of decent drama free. My personal faves being Broadchurch and Line Of Duty.

Thanks Geoff, I should have it by early next week. I’m hoping for a UK release for ‘From Dusk til Dawn’ soon.

I have over 20 years worth of PBS programming, via DVB and DVB-S2 satellite stored on several TB's worth of HDD.

I supported them for 34 years working for a relative low wage in public TV production and broadcasting. Have purchased some series on BD and made donations.

Have Britbox via Amazon. Our go to source for end of day comedy.

Anyone using Curia? JustWatch shows Curia as having The Keep in HD, Curia list it (here) but does not give technical details.

I remember your sharing this about your background. I was just using this opportunity to promote the PBS Passport streaming app as a way to both support PBS and as a way to watch much of their great content.

I'd rather support an organization like PBS that offers so many wonderful programs than, say, an outfit like Netflix that costs many times more and that mostly serves up mass quantities of forgettable pablum.

IMHO, So very true.

For viewers interested in nature and science, starting 10/27/21 PBS will air @ 2000 hours EDT Nature - Season of the Osprey, then @ 2100 hours EDT Nova will start a new series called Universe Revealed, episode 1: Age of Star.

I do prefer Digital Streaming, but I still have my Panasonic Blu-ray Player connected to my system. I have a large Collection of DVD's, BD, and Backup's that I can play. I know that you dissect every word, but I never said I refuse to play Discs because I have played my Backup's. The only Discs I can't play are UHD 4K. So I do have access to DVD and BD. I know I said I have access to just about any Movie or TV Show made, but there are always exceptions!

Words have meanings and expecting you to use them correctly is not "dissecting every word." It is an expectation I would make of anyone with even the most basic education. You are prone to making lazy and hyperbolic remarks that are factually wrong.

You said that you have access to "just about any movie or TV show made" and that is complete BS. Compared to how many movies and TV shows that have been made, neither you nor I have anywhere close to having access to "just about" all of them. There are no precise estimates as to how many titles have been made worldwide since film making began, but the number is believed to be in the low millions.

When you refuse to pay for something, barring a benefactor stepping in, you lose your access to it. You have not bought or rented a disc in many years meaning that you effectively no longer have access to anything released exclusively to disc since that time. You rely entirely upon streaming now and arbitrarily limiting yourself to just that eliminates your access to a vast number of titles that are only found on physical media. A veritable flood of titles, many of them catalog, have been released on disc this year alone and many times that have been released since you stopped buying or renting discs all those years ago. Many of these titles can not be found on streaming or EST.

I have access to as many streaming services and digital sellers as you do plus I have my continually expanding disc library and I know full well that I only have access to the tiniest tip of the iceberg of what has been made. You do not have anything even approximating access to "just about any movie or TV show made" and you are beyond delusional if you believe that you do.

Meanwhile, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune is definitely shaping up for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD in early January sometime. Info some retailers suggests that the studio is targeting 1/11/22 as the street date.

Also, while we’re on the topic of Disney, it seems that the Heat 4K release continues to be in limbo, but is still expected to arrive on the format sometime next year.
