I only got a chance to see part of the blu ray. No DNR/nice texture/grain( hence, better details than the UK blu ray), more realistic colors than the UK blu ray, and also darker than the UK blu ray. Option for animal cruelty free version for folks who don't care to see it. Thumbs up. Nice job Grindhouse.

Well, first, it's not the first time it's been released on blu. It's been in the Uk for awhile. Also, it's not a digipack. It's just a slipbox over a case. Third, yes clean your room. Lol

As others have stated, this has been released elsewhere in lesser editions (eg UK, Italy and France). Also, the reversible art isn't original artwork.

It says the release comes with an embossed slipcover, but some of the pics on Twitter I've seen don't look like they have slipcovers. and I'd assume there is just the one edition currently which is 2 Disc BLU and 1 CD?

I somehow wasn't paying much attention when it was announced.

Also and please use spoiler tags if needed but is this the film I used to hear about that contained real animal killings? If so I may want to avoid this movie.

Question. I received an email Monday stating that my order had been sent for processing (or something like that). Is that the shipment notification you all are talking about? Or will I get a second email? I'm getting anxious!

The release should include both cuts of the film, one with and one without the animal killings.

Thanks you guys for additional information. It's actually my first time watching the film (thanks to this Blu-ray) and the first set I have of this movie. I wasn't aware of other releases across the globe.
