After reading a couple of reviews on Amazon, the audio and extras are the same. Only difference is the 1080p/1080i resolution and cover designs.

The errors are on my blu ray in both versions of the film. The film jumps a few frames then slows down for a second. Annoying.

Annoying would be the correct word. I ordered this title along with Theatre of Blood which was delayed because of being faulty, but was happy FATMFH was sent, only to read today that it is faulty as well!

Amazon now lists Monster from Hell as under review. If only we were able to persuade them to do the same with Tourist Trap.

Different problems. One sounds like a duplication problem, the other is an owner-related problem.

Of course. The latter would only have been a brief, moral victory of sorts.

FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL UK BLU-RAY PLAYBACK ISSUE

"Icon Film Distribution have been made aware that some customers may have experienced technical glitches with the Blu-Ray & DVD release of Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell.

We are working with both our manufacturer and technical laboratory to identify and resolve the issue and to clarify which players may be affected.

So it's now May 3rd, have we had this update?

From the Hammer Facebook page, yesterday:

"We are still in discussion with our manufacturer to clarify the situation and, based upon this, to work out how we will best resolve any problem discs. This will include a way for anybody who believes they have a faulty disc to receive a replacement free of change. We will update with further details about this on Tuesday 6th May. Thanks for your understanding!"

Yeah mine is still in transit. Hopefully they just offer a hassle free replacement with proof of purchase.

FATMFH was under review over at Amazon. Now they're selling it again. Why is that? Ain't ICON gonna recall these?

It was only a small batch that were affected according to Icon - meaning the first batch that went out were the faulty ones. They are probably OK the ones Amazon have now, at least one would hope so.

Watching the 1.66:1 blu and the glitch during the scene between the young doctor and the prison director does not appear!

Have to go back and check the slow-motion during the "eyeball" scene.

That glitch was only on the full frame version at 14.37s. The eyeball glitch is at 8:17s on the 1.66:1 version.

Yep, got it! And can confirm that the aforementioned glitches are there on my copy as well. Must be an error in the authoring process. Icon needs to send out replacements.

Does anyone know yet how to go about this?
