Very odd that I didn't have a shipping or dispatch email, but I'm not complaining, it's here early.

This is probably the first pre-order I've had for ages that has arrived before release date and means I might get a chance to watch at the weekend.

Could you clear up something that's been confusing me, and tell me whether the 3D film is in fact split into two discs and the product is in a jumbo case or not?

Yes - 3D movie is on two discs. Part One & Part Two.

2D is on one BD and there's another BD of extras... and a jumbo case.

LOL. I spent three years covering the Lord of the Rings for New Line's fan magazine. I was a fan myself. When you see so many American women on poor salaries spending money they don't have on endless crap (and New Line were so greedy it really was endless, licensing anything and everything they could) and ignoring common sense advice it's hard to regard fans as anything else but stupid.

Peter Jackson and Warners have made millions on this film (1 billion takings) but they STILL gouge gullible stupid fans with endless "exclusive" variations knowing stupid people will buy the lot.

For other examples see "Star Wars". Three utterly shit films with the "prequels" that even the biggest fans had to admit were terrible but they STILL kept going, giving Lucas more and more money to the extent Disney have now given him millions to carry on with the money-making machine for eternity.

Hard to have respect for the "mindless consumer culture" we live in, I'm afraid. It backfires on all of us in that we get the crap we deserve. At least I can make a bit of money from it for myself for a change.

P.S. People seem to forget "fan" is short for "fanatic". Enough said!

Spoken languages: (looks like chinese) English, Francais, Italiano

Subtitles: francais, (Chinese looking one), Italiano per non udenti, nederlands, english

A lot of people paid for faster delivery so I think that gives them a right to be concerned about when their item gets dispatched, other people (like myself) preordered because we wanted to get it on or before release date, again, that gives us a right to enquire if anyone else who preordered from the same place has had theirs dispatched, at least we are trying to help each other, is that more mindless than coming on here to troll and insult?
