I loved Expendables 2 and 3 wasn't bad but yeah they really have not found the right formula for these films. Sly needs to drop the humour, stop trying to overcrowd the film by having as many old or new action stars as possible and just stick to making a hardcore action epic.

For the 4th I'd focus on the core group as in Sly, Statham, Lundgren, Crews, Couture etc and maybe add the likes of Tony Jaa to add some more martial arts to it. I forgot Wesley Snipes, his dynamic with Statham had potential in the 3rd so I'd add more focus on that in the 4th film too. Then just get a really great villain with decent, well known henchman and surely a great action film is not that hard to pull off.

I wonder if their restored relationship will have anything to do with Wheathers giving the go ahead to use his image for any retrospective footage in "Creed".

Weathers wasn't going to be compensated enough for use of his image in Balboa since the budget was small on that film. I think Sly gave him a respectable amount for Creed and made up again like he did with Willis. Money shouldn't come between friends as they say.

Dwayne Johnson, Steve Austin, AND Hulk Hogan added to Expendables 4 cast?

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan have all landed roles in the upcoming Expendables 4 film, according to LawyerHerald.com.

The three will be sharing the screen along side Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarezenegger, Jason Statham and Pierce Brosman. The film is slated to be release sometime in 2017.

Regarding Hogan’s role in the film, it’s being said that he will be playing the main villain in the movie.

But like Astro said, they can find a way to re-insert him back into the franchise. FWIW, Charles Gray played two different characters in the Bond franchise, even though his first character died initially.

Let's just hope that expendables 4 is Rated R. I mean the 3rd one was OK but nothing compared to the first 2. Also I'm sorry but I don't want the rock and hulk hogan anywhere near this. I want Clint Eastwood, Kurt Russell and Steven Seagal.
