Looks to be two jumbo cases containing all seasons. I ordered a set from Amazon only a couple of months back & got the old white box set with individual cases inside.

I have an unusual question/request. If anyone owns the European version of the 8th season of House on Blu-ray, could you please check if episode 13 has a glitch?

It happens at 37:39 when Taub is watching a video on his laptop, gets scared by House and starts saying "I was wondering..." - at that point it looks like a few frames are missing so that you can't hear the "w" in "was".

Normally I would think maybe it's simply a scratch on the disc, but I ripped the disc so if this part was unreadable, the ripping software would not skip it, it would try to read the exact content, fail and report an error, but it didn't, it read it as if it's all good which makes me wonder if it could be an actual error in the content itself. That said, before I go ahead and re-buy this season, I'd appreciate it if someone who owns it could check if you can see this (in the EU release).

EDIT: No longer needed, someone confirmed the glitch on their disc.

So there's just no indication of what episodes are on each disc eh? Guess I have to keep track of which disc I'm on myself. Kind of dumb.

I've had the box set for a few years, so I thought I might as well start watching it, I really enjoyed it back in the day. When you see two or three episodes one after the other, it is a bit samey; they don't know what's wrong with a patient & House acts like a boorish idiot & then the answer comes to him & all is okay. I'm on season four & really enjoying it (I do zip past a few episodes), House acts in a way that no hospital ever allow (& gets more outrageous as the series goes on), but it's a great series, although I do think the best stories are in season one.

hope y'all don't mind if i revive this once again. (can't believe it's been 10 years since the start of this!)

but i read around with these "disc glitches" and "duplicates" on this white box set, are they all that common?? i just bought a set off of ebay to watch with my boyfriend, and i'd hate to have some whack discs that i can't easily replace :/

I watched the entire series via the white box and had zero issues whatsoever.

that's good to hear! i got my set just yesterday. was very happy with the presentation and how it looked. and y'all weren't kidding about the cases being tricky to close!

i've only watched the pilot so far, and i'm pretty pleased! i'm glad it works on my PS4 as well, i was a bit worried i would have to use some other player in my house or something.

though, i haven't had as many issues that some people have reported on? the use of icons instead of words on the menus is weird, but i guess i was able to know what they mean, and i was able to select the settings i wanted and episodes i wanted to watch just fine. it's probably just a 'me' thing.
