I'm interested, I'm just only $10-$12 interested, give or take. Not $20+ interested.

I don't see that happening. The Edge of Tomorrow & 22 Jump Street steelbooks are still both over $20.

Yep you are right, it's not going to happen. Target fixed their DCPI system so the exclusives (steelbooks included) no longer have the same numbers as the regular editions. When the regular edition drops in price, the new steels/exclusives won't.

If you find them, you can still get deals on older titles like Django, Ender's, Elysium, and Transformers 4 because they have the same numbers. But anything newer like Edge, 22, or Lucy won't be going on sale.

Then I just won't buy the Steelbook at that price.

It's up to the retailer to decide whether they want their stock to move. I've pulled plenty of Target Steelbooks at under $15 in the past, but again, up to the retailer to make that call. I can only control my wallet.

Got a Family Video nearby? If they had to buy extra copies from a retailer, chances are they may have a few from Target. You can get it with just the Blu-ray disc for around $9.99 in varying condition. I'm willing to bet Target won't be putting their steelbook exclusives on sale anymore due to the new trend of segregated DPCIs.

Jesus. Family Video goes into the Target where I work. All hell about broke lose when they took almost all of the copies of the Target exclusive for Godzilla! Go to Wal-Mart, @$$****!

I'm at Target at least once a week and yesterday my local store had about a half dozen of these (along with the Insterstellar steelbook) back on shelves. Not sure if it was a re-distribution of stock or what, but might be worth checking out if you are still looking for one.

Due to the different DPCI, these were probably just sitting in the backroom for not having a space on the planogram in the media department. They reset a lot of things at my local store and had two full facings of this on the shelf.

I managed to grab the Steelbook a few weeks back when they were doing the BOGO 50% off and got the Steelbook for $8.

Mine still have all of those plus Enders Game, The Gambler & Hobbit Extended. At least 1-2 copies of each.
