Plenty and they are all fantastic releases.

BD-R is not ghetto by the way.

These aren’t movie only discs with basic audio.

Sony produces these the same as their pressed discs: pop menu, DTS-HD MA audio, and extras where applicable.

The price covers the work entailed in making these.

If they do so much to warrant normal prices, then they should have used official pressed discs. MOD doesn't have to be BD-R.

Now I don’t care about the price really (I’m buying the movie not the packaging), but the presentation certainly does give the buyer a bad impression. It is definitely surprising that a major studio would release a product that seems like a bootleg in many respects.

Sorry for bumping up but I’m curious to know if this has any special features, some MOD releases still have them, like the Starsky & Hutch one.

It has quite a few features according to this review and the back cover:

Anyway... I own the Australian disc, and can confirm that it is region B locked.
Can you confirm that the Australian release is definitely the Unrated 100 minute version? Can't seem to find confirmation of that on any of the sites I have gone on.

Also, any special features on the Australian release?

AU BD is Unrated DC, no special features.

I made some comparison screenshots here (US BD, AU BD and Unrated DVD).

Where are people buying the AU blu? JBHIFi won't ship to me in the US, as it says it is a special order item.

Because: pressed, unrated.

I prefer my BD-R with the original theatrical version and most of the archival extras.

I was asking where it could be purchased, not necessarily which one was better.

why wouldn't they ship to the us? I've ordered from them many times and had stuff shipped to Canada even out of stock items just tasks a bit for it to come in. u also have to contact them after placing the order and request a refund of the gst as people out side there country aren't required to pay it.

Not sure. I have both a residential and office address, and I tried both. Maybe I will contact them.

Is it oop? Sanity, Amazon AUS, and Booktopia say it's out of stock.

It's region locked to B, so at least that's been confirmed. There's a few other Aussie releases I was wanting but they're untested for A on here lol

There’s copies at my local JB, I’m happy to buy one and post to you if you’d like, however postage with tracking is like $25 AUD, or I can do it for less if you don’t need tracking. PM me

I just tried with a bunch of items showing in stock and it gave me the same thing. I sent an email, so I’ll have to see what they say.

To follow up, they say that they fullfil international orders from a warehouse and the message that I received on the site is automated and they can't push any orders through. I looked at a reshipped, but the shipping is obscene, like 50-100 bucks.
