Can anybody confirm whether or not there is any uncensored profanity within the special features of the standard and/or 4K Blu-ray releases of Cars 3?
The original submission by Disney received an M rating in Australia for "Coarse language", implying that it contains two or more uses of the F-bomb. Australia's M rating is usually analogous to the UK's 12 and MPAA's PG-13 ratings, but given the Australian Classification Board's relatively relaxed attitude to coarse language at this category, the language could very well be comparable to a UK 15 or an MPAA R rating. Disney subsequently resubmitted the Blu-ray, which then received a G classification. Any censorship would have spilled over into the UK release as it was released there with a U rating (and I couldn't find any 12/15 rated submissions in the BBFC database). I am aware that bonus features are not required to be rated in the US, so I am curious as to whether or not the US release has been censored as well or whether it's only jurisdictions with classification requirements that have been affected. Many thanks. |

Watched the trilogy with my son after years
Part 3 has proper HDR which was almost absent in the first 2. I am not sure why but it felt night and day when it cane to HDR. |
