I don't know if a post concerning this have been made, but if not..... just to let you know guys that the french site is now functional and i've been able to place an order this afternoon. This site has different 13.99 deals than the english one. Nothing really hot so far though, IMO..... www.cineetcie.ca

Not to cr@p on this site, but you must pick and choose. The selection is even worse than the regular CH site, and unless you get a 13.99 selection, the prices aren't the greatest.

I just made an order at the regular site for the following:
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves Extended Cut - Blu-Ray $28.95
Frost/Nixon - Blu-Ray $14.48
X-Files: I Want to Believe - Blu-Ray $14.48
Glory-Blu Ray $14.48
Changeling - Blu-Ray $14.48
Amadeus - Blu-Ray $14.48
Rio Bravo - Blu-Ray $13.48
Beetlejuice 20Th Anniversary - Blu-Ray 14.48
Subtotal
$129.31

I compared at the new site, and they only had
Amadeus Director's Cut - Blu-ray $24.99
Changeling - Blu-ray $24.99
Frost/Nixon - Blu-ray $13.99
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves Extended Cut - Blu-ray $24.99
X-Files: I Want to Believe - Blu-ray 13.99
Total: $102.95

So for an extra $27, I'm getting 3 more titles that weren't even on the new site.
I like the look and feel of the new site muuuch more, but ulitimately, I'll take the deals.

well the thing is, this site of moreso for people who place orders for 1-2 titles at a time and still get the same discount your getting. as youve pointed out one does get good discounts with the other site, but you also have to be willing to place a big order and spend a fair sum of money at once. and since i'm not in the position to do that, i'll stick to picking and choosing from the deals that come here.

It's depend how you work, If you only make an order of pre-orders it's will only cost you 40$ per weeks (2 news releases by weeks you get...) and you will not have to paid 140$ IN ONE SHOOT.

Yeah the original CH store only charges when they ship and they ship out items as they become available for no extra cost. chcanada.com charges at the time you place the order.

as well they have a bill me option so you don't have to pay right away. I think they give you 23 days from the time you get the movies to pay before they charge a late fee.

i'm sure we'll see it back. they usually rotate out titles once every 2 weeks (i think?) could be once every month, but i doubt its that long.....

Slumdog is the kind of movie that some will love and others won't see the appeal at all. There's a fair chance enough will be left in stock to justify another $13.99 deal as it gets older. 9/10 for me.

At the beginning of the month, all the titles get rotated out, and then every Monday for the rest of the month, there are usually 3-4 titles that get rotated around.

To thecardman23's early question about Slumdog and to Ziggy66 summary - thecardman23 - I can put in the request to take it down again and Ziggy66 - excellent work - you're bang on - we take a number of titles down to $13.99 each month and then rotate in 2-3 higher demand titles each week.
