On the flipside to this, i have Tarzan in 3D and i really enjoyed the movie and the 3D. I thought the animation was superb and really enjoyed the way the story was presented. The 3D is really strong throughout as well. It's a real shame the US didn't get a 3D release of this, as that is the best thing about it.

Most new releases i tend to buy day One in store, i only really pre-order exclusives, so as it stands i believe i have the following on pre-order:

Maleficent Zavvi exclusive 3D Steelbook
Guardians of the Galaxy Zavvi exclusive 3D Steelbook
Noah German 3D Steelbook (although hopefully this is being posted about now, expected delivery date 3 September)
and i need to pre-order Transcendence French 3D release

Yeah Tarzan seems to be getting very mixed reviews....I'll take it as it comes (I have other similar purchases that I'm not overly proud to say I own

)

I just mistakingly added (well thats the story I'm tellin the missus - and I'm stickin to it!

)

Noah 3d (german Steelbook) to the listing.....kinda struggled a little to spend $60 on a movie though - especially when it's a blind buy - Oh well, lets just say i'm supporting the 3D industry eh?

Not that my opinion is worth much mate but Tarzan 3D is great fun IMO. It's just a solid and entertaining adventure movie with superb visuals and cracking 3D.

I think it's fair to say I value the opinions of people on this forum for their thoughts on 3D - especially when it's a "lesser known release"

SOO-oooo, Levcore - I'm holding YOU solely responsible if I hate Tarzan 3D!

Amazing Spider-Man 2

Pretty fun movie. The 3D was much better in this one than the first movie. The end action sequence at the power plant looked great!

Bought Amazing Spider-Man 2 last weekend, haven't watched it yet. I found (and bought!) Beauty and the Beast today. Never thought I'd find it.

Watched Frankenweenie 3D. Excellent movie. 3D quality was very good with consistent depth and the odd pop out. Soundtrack was excellent.

Just watched frozen 3d and def looked great in 3d. I also watched I,frankenstein 3d and enjoyed it also. I thought the 3d was fine with good depth and a twist on the story kept it interesting.
