I hit vanguard rank 3 today and was rewarded with an ascendant shard, ascendant energy, and the legendary rocket launcher 'Unfriendly Giant'. I only need a legendary special weapon and I will be in full legendary gear.

Well I helped my buddy get from L20 to L23 in one morning today thanks to Queens Wrath missions.

I want a group of six people to raid with who have never done it before, so we can try it out together for the first time. See what we make of ourselves before we add in a veteran who's run the raid before.
Who's around 24-27 here who hasn't raided yet? So far I just know of the group of Mike, Casey, and me.

Finally got an exotic weapon bounty, decided to pick Invective. That 25 K/D spread will take me at least 20-25 crucible matches for sure but I got this. I need a shotgun w/ solar for these gatdamn wizards and cabal centurions.

I would've preferred the Exotic machine gun (What is it, Very Good Advice?) but out of Bad Juju and Thorn - eh, Invective sounded like a good bet for Crucible fights.

Also got my first legendary heavy weapon (rocket launcher w/ a funny caption) from a blue! Just missing those Dustwalker boots I have my eyes on for a complete Legendary set. Need 200 more Vanguard rep then they're mine.

Sidebar, is there any other way to change your ghost's shell? Beyond preorders?

Well I'm 3 Fusion Rifles away from the next part of my Exotic Bounty. Taking forever

Anyone have any tips for Rumble? It is starting to get frustrating. I don't know if I don't have things configured correctly or if it is something else. I realize I'm not very good at it but at first I was going much, much better so I'm not sure what is different now.

At first, I was anywhere from the middle to close to the bottom but would have usually just slightly more deaths than kills. Now, I'm lucky if I even get a kill and I'm a higher level than a lot of the guys. I'll shoot them 2 or 3 times and then try to melee them as they approach but I don't seem to have much of an impact. Then, they approach and kill me in the blink of an eye. I kind of feel like I'm a gnat that everyone just swats away when I bother them. One guy last night just ran right pass me as I'm shooting him and I also threw a grenade. It really looked like he was going to ignore me but then turns around, comes back, kills me and then moves on.

It wasn't like this at first so I don't know what is going on now. I'm level 26 (or 27, depending on which gear I use), have all legendary armor and the weapons I've been using are level 19 or 20, attack is around 219 to 230 (rare weapons though, my only legendary weapon is a heavy weapon). I've tried an auto rifle, pulse rifle, scout rifle and fusion rifle.

I haven't done raid yet. But I won't be on till later tonight. Maybe 9:00 West Coast.

I started having success in Crucible when I started employing tactics. The way I saw it, Destiny is full of former CoD players who are skilled in FPS combat.

Always stay moving, running, strafing, jumping in unpredictable movement patterns so you don't present a constant target.

also I found that you really only have time to get a single shot of for 2 or maybe 3 topps so I prefer to use a hand canon a shotgun or the fusion rifle it usually a 1 shot kill on most opponentsalso never turned a corner blindly and always be aware of places where you could be shot at from when entering a new room.
