Here is a film buff that realizes that films didn't just start in the year 2000. A lot of people on this sight don't know what they are missing by passing on older films. My hat's off to you my friend.

that may be more indicative of the average age of those on the board. if you are in your early 20s then a film from 2000 is an "old" film (19 years now)

Not a very subtle collection, and not much variety. Looks like the testosterone collection. Your collection screams if someone isn’t being shot or stabbed or something isn’t blowing up, I don’t want to watch it.

Took me a while to find a weak spot and finally I found all those Nicholas Sparks romance movies in your 2010's!!!
But your categories are different and I like that (I laughed when I saw Hot Spot in the 90's and Killing Me Softly in the 2000's even though they are on the same bluray release)

so what's your point i like horror, sci-fi and action. i know there are at least a couple of movies where nothing explodes and no one is shot or stabbed (nothings perfect) i don't feel that i should buy movies just because i need some "variety" . i have a wife who has almost nothing but touchy feely romance movies and dramas with a few comedies thrown in. no reason to duplicate that.

now i could bad mouth your collection based soley on what i like but that isn't the point of the thread. you have many titles that aren't found in the average collection which in itself is cool. to each his own.

I love all genre pictures, and I'm an absolute action junkie. Yes, your collection lacks variety, but you enjoy entertainment and so do I.

An impressive number but without categories I can't tell what your collection really looks like , cause with them all under owned I can't tell if you still have them .

Really healthy collection! Good titles, nice mix, and great organization (something I always appreciate).
