Yeah I'll agree that the A.I was top notch. They used cover wisely, were always coming out of cover from different directions, (loved the prone roll out of cover ), etc. I'm thinking the boost in AI possibly contributed to the fewer amount of enemies on screen at any given time. I was hoping to get bum rushed HARD on elite, just flat out overwhelmed by enemies (like the road to Radec in KZ2). Instead, I probably died about 25 times for the entire elite run. By comparison in KZ2, I probably died 50 times on the road to Radec alone, and probably another 150 times in Radec's castle (1st & 2nd floor) not counting the rest of the game.

Also, I'm a pretty good gamer, but not even close to some of the people here. I think my skills in general are about the same TBH.

I had a mixed bag of games over the weekendbut now at Major III. I'm only a couple of levels into the campaign, but I'm enjoying it, some of the wide shots of the war zones are superb, the draw distance and detail is amazing. yeah, the lip synch is a bit off in places, but on the whole the characters look great, I've really noticed the subtely of the character expressions this time round.

My most played maps are Pyhrrus Crater, Frozen Dam and Blood Gracht.

Once the new patch comes out we can look at arranging some private games; though I quake in fear at Bageara's stats and hope he ends up on my side!!

Quite pleased to see that I'm well on the way to Silver Medal on turret kills

It's not a major concern but I've had the Faster Reload Ribbon most matches but on my stats it shows 0 .
Has anyone else had or noticed this fault?

***UPDATE*** Just checked Killzone Forums and it seems alot of people have the same issue

Yep, I've definitely had it and I've seen the different reload animations for a couple of guns too, but my stats say nay. I did wonder if the ribbons only count toward stats in certain game types? i.e. not GW?

Odd because every other stat appears to be recorded accurately.

Yeah, I've started to notice some other stats for guns also. My medals show almost 500 Kills and 50 headshots for my M82SE but in the Unlock section for the Medic it shows all 0
But like you say, some of the stats are accurate.

Do you think its due to maybe you have to earn it for each sitting because I've seen them all pop up while playing but some just never show up on the stats.

That's why I got my marksman leveled. Nothing sweeter than a headshot to a spawn camper.

Speaking of which, I lost EVERY match I played yesterday (10+ matches), most of them were 6-1, 7-0 type losses. It was extremely frustrating. Even when the player counts were equal we'd be up against a clan or a bunch of much better players. Junkyard is the absolute worst multiplayer map I've ever played. I'm so close to just auto-quitting any match with that map.

It's not too bad if you've players on your team who know what there doing. I've played that map with people who just go round trying to kill people and not even try to take Spawn points, repair ammo crates or even attempt at objectives.
I remember playing that map once myself and it was Search and Destroy. I ended up getting to the objective all on my own by taking out 6 guys to get there but as i got there and started placing C4 I was killed because no one had my back. I checked on the map to find the rest of my team where trying get kills by spawn camping

They should make Killzone 4 a Helghast campaign, where they end up winning the war. I don't think there's a single one of us who likes those cardboard, generic, "'MURICA!" ISA troops. They annoy the hell out of me, and I want to see them burn.

I HATE Captain Narville. With his beady, raccon eyes, his sharp rat nose, his Milton lisp, his stupid decisions. I hate his voice, I hate his scent, I hate his children and his god damn beard.

On a side note, I played with the Move controller yesterday, it's a pretty fun experience but I wish turns felt a little more natural (I moved it up to 70%).

As we are all of the opinion that playing our class appropriately is the right thing to do, rather than run off looking for kill points, we should - in theory - be a pretty good team in a clan match or just when a group of us are on together. In theory...

That's certainly my experience anyway; when a team really works together they can hit the objectives damned fast because they are going for team glory, not personal glory. I'm happy to take a hit if it means protecting someone arming/disarming an explosive, etc.

Generally speaking I can only get online late in the evening, but I'm pretty sure this Thursday is looking good from about half 8 onward if anyone else is available (UK time)

Therein lies the problem for me, I'm only available evenings too but in MST (GMT-7) so unless there's something on a weekend I probably won't be able to make any clan matches haha. But good luck to you guys!

I saw you sign off, I was like "awe crap should have checked if people were playing". I have a habit of just signing in and starting a game right up without looking to see if people on my friends list are also playing.

Do you guys use mics? I haven't pulled mine out for KZ3 yet.

Narville didn't have a beard....

I'd love a Helghan campaign as well, but do we really need to wait until 4? They could easily re-use the levels from the SP campaign, and instead give us the mission of capturing Narville and Sev, all as DLC. The player could be the special ops Helghast ( I'm not sure what their type is called) that collect that guy while Sev was in the grass and put him on a ship.
