Yeah, there are so many it's a bit confusing. I definitely don't want one I have to paint, I know that much.

Is that Tie and X Wing above the £16.99 version? There seems to be many different versions. Hard to tell what size they are.

The Level 1 & 2 kits seem to be pre-painted and snap together, Level 1 has sound, anything above that needs paint and glue as far as I can tell.

Damn that Sky_Captain, I wish he'd kept his Argos bargain to himself.

I gave in and just bought the Falcon anyway. I now want the Poe X Wing and Tie Fighter. The Resistance X Wing just looks a little less painted to me with all the white.

Rubbish pics of the Argos Falcon with my painted Disney Falcon and the X-Wing Game Falcon.

I see there are X wings with stands (level 2). One of them Poe is 25cm while the Reistence one is 38cm. I thought they would be the same size. I think they are still snap together.

One with sound is 22cm I think for both.

Yep, they were only added in the closeups, not the wides. And to whoever said it might be added for 3D, even so, it'd still look shite in my opinion. It's just the worst. At least with Han shooting Greedo it's so fast you can just blink at the right time and forget about it.

The one film that you could push as the first true must own 4K title, but nope-not going to happen.
I don't think we'll be seeing AOTC and ROTS in 4k unless they were upscaled because they were filmed at 1080p.

The only level 2 kit I've bought has been Kylo Ren's command shuttle, (it was reduced to £15 quid), and it took bloody ages to put together. Plus the wings don't move, (even Lego figured that part out). Still, it looks quite smart on top on my subwoofer.

Ordered the Level 1 Tie Fighter from ebay, looks like a good size for the money.

I thought this was supposed to be a Blu-ray thread, not a toys thread!

Just watched the Force Awakens (eventually), wow, absolutely loved it. It replaces Empire as my number 2, the original will always be number 1. It felt like I was eleven years old again in 1977 watching Star Wars for the first time.

Wow, that's a high mark. Glad you enjoyed it that much. Going next week to see it, can't wait.

I can't remember if I posted here or not, but I loved it too.

Itching to see it again - luckily I was given a free Guest Ticket when the film finished because the power went out during the film! It was a city-wide power cut, but they managed to get the film back on after a couple of minutes so props to them. Luckily it was only 20 minutes in, so they started the scene from the beginning so we could get settled in (it was in IMAX 3D).

My initial reaction was "this could possibly be the best Star Wars film to date". On more reasonably reflection, it's certainly my second favourite after Empire, followed by Jedi and Hope (not to put the original film down, it's just my preference...they're all good). I am very much looking forward to Rogue One next year, and even more for Rian Johnson's entry.

Got the Falcon. I added some more colour to it. I have since the pic was taken, also darkened the edges round on the sides. If I get more, I like the look of the level 2 Tie Fighter and Poe X Wing.

The Bandai's are superior from what I have read but they need a bit more work to finish them off. I would love the BB8 and R2D2 but they requires decals to be applied. I am no good at that sort of thing.

The R2D2 is same as the old version that came out before. It look great.

I almost bought them from ebay from a UK seller. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes with custom charges from Japan.
