So are we going to have another 992 posts where people tell us what number they have?

(and yes, I'm jealous you have gotten your sets)

I agree, it is silly, the only reason I did is because of the crazy number speculation lol, I ordered early and I got an early number, I really do not think it is the other way around like some now are claiming lol, plus who cares? are you after a number or the Set

I received two limited edition copies yesterday, #170 and #937 and my orders were placed at the same time so that should answer the question about randomness.

I have seen the theatrical cut a few times, never the directors cut. I hate to open a limited edition for the theatrical cut if the directors cut is better. Anyone watched them both yet, care to comment specifically why one is better than the other in their opinion?

Yes, and $80 for those that ordered from Shout! Factory. When it first went on sale at amazon, it was $55 but only for about a week maybe less back in the summer.

I'm still kicking myself for not ordering that when I had the chance. The poster is nice (Joel Robinson is really their only regular artist who does genuinely aesthetically pleasing work and is capable of consistently recognizable likenesses) but not for $25.

i ordered it but when the production amount increased I cancelled. I figured it was a lot for a movie I had never seen
if it was only 5000. if i didn't like it i could have easily resold it

I Had a nightmare with the Curtains bluray through barnes and noble. It took them I think maybe 3 or 4 weeks to deliver it to me after release date since it sold faster than planned by the retailers. Love their criterion prices when there is a sale, but my Curtains debacle supremely pissed me off. By the time it showed up I forgot what was inside the box! Nice film though, quite Canadian P.S.oh how I love Nightbreed. Fantastic film for Halloween I'm so hyped to show friends

Thanks for the info!

The number doesn't really matter to me, but it did strike me as strange that it was so high considering my ordering time. You answered my question, thanks!

I have gotten a few things from Barnes and Noble that amazon took forever to stock (those three Godzilla movies from Kraken), and I've never had them screw any orders up or anything. I consider them very reliable, so if they're selling it for 15 less than amazon I'd say go for it!

I am guessing it's going to get back down to 55 or lower on amazon long before it finally sells out, though. Just probably not before release date!

I tried to find and buy an official Dr. Decker mask, but to no avail. I may have to buy a Boone mask now and do Decker next year.

I paid around that much for the Decker mask I bought for last Halloween. Here is a picture of me at a Halloween party last year...
