The best thing I can think of about Mars Attacks is that it pops up as an easier to spot clue than most in Actorle a lot.

It might be better than his Planet Of The Apes.

The worst part of streaming is not the inferior pq/aq. It's the missing special features or, more specifically, making of documentaries. There are some making of docs out there that rival the film itself for entertainment value and quality.

There are so many movies the last decade or so which simply BEG for a decent full length documentary. The effort of things like the Alien series documentaries or the sheer amount of special features for the LOTR movies cannot be beaten. They made the movie......better somehow, or at the very least gave viewers an appreciation for the art that we simply don't get to see very often anymore. Even most physical media releases these days seem like they can be arsed when it comes to making of docs. It's sad.

I miss consistent good extra features/ making of documentaries these days. You can't beat a nice meaty doco.

It's even more irritating when certain studios (I'm looking at you Disney) do release a film on disc, but only put the 'making of' doc on their streaming service.

I'v had it with these monkey fighting takes.

I'd tend to agree that Mars Attacks always sounded better on paper than it was in reality, I feel Burton had already lost a bit too much of his stranegness by that point, had he made it 5 years before it probably would have been quite a bit better.

Mars Attacks > Star Wars prequel trilogy > Star Wars sequel trilogy

No hyperbole.

Mars Attack has always been fun.

Evolution with David Duchovny and Julianne Moore is also an underrated and fun flick.

Proving the fact that all criticism leads to a galaxy far, far away.

Mars Attacks has some great visuals and cult appeal, but it has the same pacing issues that a lot of Burton's movies have.

I've always had a good time with Evolution. It makes me chuckle.
