...so fake every couple of years without fail a wrestler needs to get spinal fusion surgery to get their neck stabilized with steel rods and/or is prematurely retired with neck/back injuries.

I hate the argument that it sucks cause it's "Fake." Like men and women tossing each other around in tights expressly for entertainment is inferior while a bunch of men in helmets crashing into each other for ???? is superior. Or like it's inferior to soap operas WITHOUT the action!

I don't care about any sport, but I fully support the idea of wrestling. I read about it sometimes. Things like the stories/athleticism of Daniel Bryan or Becky Lynch are awesome.

I also have fond memories of the one year back in like, middle school that I watched wrestling in the heyday of The Rock. That guy was hilarious. I was not in any way surprised that he transitioned to movies successfully.

Yeah, let's not trash-talk pro wrestling. I'm no fanatic, but I've enjoyed what I've seen, and I have no end of respect for it. It's a sport and a performance in equal measure, and one that requires strength, agility, focus, coordination and courage, as a stunt could go awry and someone could be injured or even killed.

People who can't find anything to respect about pro wrestling are not only closed-minded, they're too dim to recognize the level of skill and commitment on parade.
