Well I have always said it's all Digital, so it will be Subscription and a Server Based copy of the DI. As for Disc it will all depend on the Studios, if they want to budget on a declining market!

Yes if you don't mind DVD maybe Blu-ray. With 4K the Studios are having problems now with Quality Control. The Independent Studios will take this Market, but with limited quantities and priced very costly. It will be all about Supply and Demand!

I see DVDs are still popular but I also see just about everything getting a UHD release.

Really? The moniker CD is dead have been used for decades, yet still all CDs are released by the studios themselves. Not limited quantity and not priced very costly.

Yeah, the 4K market is really in shambles. That's why I currently have 8 upcoming 4K releases pre-ordered and about 200 more on my wish list. Not to mention the catalog titles rumored for release this year from not only boutique labels but the big studios as well.

Your narrative of dying discs seems more silly each day as more titles are announced than I can possibly keep up with or afford. Not to mention titles that sell out, such as the Ghostbusters Ultimate 4K set that sold out within a couple of days of going up for preorder. Methinks your crystal ball couldn't predict the change of seasons, much less the future of physical media.

A few weeks ago I asked if anyone had seen the Italian crime series Gomorrah. I took a chance on the first season on Blu-ray and just finished it. For fans of mob / drug cartel shows or movies, this needs to be viewed. Absolutely brutal, unflinching, and unrelenting. Casting, cinematography, and score are all top notch. I can see why people are grouping this series with the Wire, Sopranos, and Breaking Bad.....it is that good.

I already have the 2nd season and the 3rd is on its way. I have a couple of guys at work starting it up, and they say they are streaming it on HBO for those who are inclined.

The only thing you understand is lowering yourself to name calling, because all these years you still haven't learned anything. I just feel we are moving towards Fiber Networks, where Information and Content can be accessed from these Servers.

The movie is great, as well, and it's on BD from Criterion Collection. I have not watched the series. The movie is also brutal.
