I watched Riddick on BD last night. I love that franchise. I hope they put out 4K discs of the second and third films soon.

I watched the season finale of 1883 on Paramount+ and that was such a great show.

I received the Yellowstone S4 BD set, so I can finally catch up on it. Yellowstone has the weirdest streaming release tier out there.

I hope this turns out well as Bullitt is a classic.

Been a long time since viewed. Added to my Netflix disc queue, may have to add to my disc collection.

Watched S1, 2 & 3 via Netflix disc, S4 in queue. IMO has one of the better DP's for a TV series. Jack Reacher (Prime) done fairly well as well. On S1, E4 tonight.

Have your Netflix rentals slowed down too? Or are you by or in a state with a warehouse? Mine don't arrive until three days later. The third one was supposed to come with the rest on Friday and still isn't here. Late shipments have been happening a lot lately, which is why I switched from three discs to two discs last month. But then I switched back before this month was over because I found that I was rewatching movies more than I wanted to. They have to travel across two states. Used to come from a neighboring state. What they also never do anymore is send you an extra movie if the top one in your queue isn't available (while sending the first from a more distant facility) and send an extra disc free of charge if the one you received was defective, potentially allowing you four slots at once. Not anymore. Barely any of the new Criterion discs are added anymore. Instead, the Criterion BD selection is getting smaller and smaller as discs are returned broken and never replaced.

I plan to stick with the service for as long as it's available, but it sucks to experience the state of it as physical media becomes ever more niche and only a few warehouses remain. I used to rent 24 discs a month. Now I'm lucky if I can get 12.

11 years ago there was center in Asheville (20 miles away), it closed and disc started coming from Columbia SC, it closed and now most of my disc come from Duluth GA. For me, still much cheaper than Red Box (several miles round trip) and most streaming (info from Just Watch). Will continue Netflix disc as long as possible.

Yes I like Riddick too, have those in my Digital Collection on Vudu HDX starting with Pitch Black. I have also been a big Yellowstone fan, and finished up 1883 on Amazon Prime Channel Paramont+. I have all the Seasons of Yellowstone except Season 4, I need to get it and catch up.

Lot's of Series to watch, I change up daily between Amazon Prime, Disney+, and Netflix. Finished up Ozark Season 4 Part 1, and waiting for Part 2. On Disney+ finished Mandalorian and Boba Fett, waiting for Obi-Wan Kenobi Series. Just too much Content, I think you'll be waiting a long time for all this to come on Disc!

I loved Pitch Black and Riddick, but didn’t have the same enthusiasm for Chronicles. I need to revisit it though.

I think the director's cut of Chronicles is awesome.

Yellowstone does look really good. I would have to add Mr Robot and now the show Gomorrah to that list. The DP for Gomorrah uses lighting better than any other show I have seen.

I’m currently working through series 1 of The Terror on Blu-ray. Cracking show with some fine actors.

It has been ages since I have seen this movie. Guess I will have to and give a rewatch.

Hey Wendell (and any others who are interested), season 4 of Gomorrah review just popped up so you can get an idea what the DP is doing and some quick examples of how lighting is used.
