I'm not going to lie...I'd buy a blu-ray that compiles these live streams. My favorite quote from Bill tonight: "This [customer making movie request] is an idiot. He wants me to go broke."

Couldn't pass up Spontaneous Combustion for $10 shipped. Got suckered into buying the bootleg version from Sunset films / cheezyflicks. Complete garbage release.

On the livestream...
Who's the one Bill keeps referring to with the sexual preference slurs?

That live steam, ****ing hell. I flicked through parts of it and it really feels like df are taking advantage of a man with serious issues. The ranting and unhinged nature of Bill is odd to watch and the way defalco is using him to shift product is distasteful. It's like watching someone needle a drunken homeless man for the lols. They also make it pretty clear that as far as df is concerned they are in this game solely for the money, defalco saying it outright just makes me wish that CR could get their shit together and just let VS and others take the catalogue.

$299.99 for a signed DVD box which based on the description does not even include the DVD. It's not even a poster bur a DVD inlay and I love the df comment that if it doesn't sell they'll bring the price down. Keep it classy lads, keep it classy.

Not class, rather capitalism IMO they wont sell it for that price (i wouldnt even pay $20 for it personally), but you never know - maybe there is a superfan that would pay that for the sig.

You prefer to be misled by marketing that companies are selling media for some reason other than the money ultimately? DF just being upfront and honest here instead of marketing dressing up media profits in some greater good. Unless its a nonprofit organization,
[Show spoiler]the company is in it for the money.

IMO CR has a very specific way they want to run their direct business, as they have run it pretty much the same way for a very long time despite plenty of consumer advice and other models that could have been used. They clearly dont want to be another VS or even another Scorpion. DF at least has enabled consumers to get discs very fast while working within the Code Red direct business model, a big improvement for the typical months long wait of the past.

I guess DF deleted the video?

I don’t suppose anyone saved it/uploaded it elsewhere?

Deleting that video was a wise move. The first video of the post-hypodermic needle era was quite a doozy. Banana Man was alert and verbally aggressive. No slumping over. No nodding off. No Flo Rida "My House" intermissions. No one was safe.

Seriously kindly do us all a service and **** off. We get it, you'll defend any shit that df pulls. No one doubts that all labels are in it for the money but for most, there is also a love of cinema and want to preserve and release film. For df it's all about the money which is sad as a proper label in it for both love and money like VS could do wonders with some of the films CR have.

I'm re-adding you to my ignore list as it's clear that you have a hard on for df and will defend the shoddiest and most underhanded of shit they pull. It was fun watching just how low you would go to defend defalco as you seem desperate for his attention but at this stage it's tiresome. Don't worry, next time you deliberately misinterpret my post I won't even see.

Simply because I was tired of him repeatedly misinterpreting my posts and sometimes he needs to be called on his bullshit. Can't be arsed anymore though so just readded him to my ignore list.

The way he deliberately agrivates and pushes Bill's buttons adds nothing and doesn't even make for interesting viewing. It's just a sad old wrestler and failed filmmaker abusing a volatile old man. Every time I think I'll just get the films I want from df so as not to miss out on them they go ahead and pull something like this that just leaves a bad taste.

Would not be surprised if the Bananaman shorts are monetized in a limited edition BD-R compilation down the road.

Haha right!

Its one of those things they could never move even 1000 units but I bet they could move a VERY small (i.e. 100) BD-R run at double the usual disc price (to make it worth the while) for hardcore code red fans/masochists. As long as its fully uncut, uncensored, peel-free, pure Banana goodness: BANANAMAN LIVE: TOO HOT FOR FACEBOOK!

BD-R is basically the only option for 100 print runs as proposed here. Pressed you usually need min order of 1000. That's why ultra niche labels like SRS use BD-R on most of their releases (100-200 runs).

i.e. Discmakers, anything under 1000 print run forces you to BD-R, and it doesn't get much more indie than Discmakers. Here is their ordering system for Blu-ray, you can take a look for yourself:
https://www.discmakers.com/quoter/default.aspx

I am glad I can be such a wealth of useful information on disc manufacturing to all!
